BURNING CROSS

Hidden well and not a sound to be fell, the Hippo awaited in their sniper position for the enemy to come near the city of Tottori. The grass waved like a crowd of a million at a rock concert with the smokey clouds above.

The firestorm had stopped, and the last remaining smoke was beginning to dissipate slowly. The brisk air made its way into the Stug III along with the dead smell of burning buildings and forests.

All of these aspects combined to create the aroma of a burned city after a rainstorm without the sight of it.

Whatever land they cleared was being used for a weapon for sure, it had to be big. Erwin was told of who was found so far.

The germans on left side, Japanese in the middle, and that meant the Christian boys were the only ones left. Not wanting to risk it, they decided to stay and see if it was actually going to be them.

the Parrbaellum so far had been so smart with their moves, that to trick them into thinking the Christian boys would coming up this side for sure, and instead of having a mix of Germans and Japanese would destroy their plans. The slaughter would be worse and losing more imminent.

The Christians would be different from the Japanese and Germans. The Japanese fought with no surrender and died with honor. The Germans were about no turning back, and maximizing their kills. Yet the Christians were different. Fighting for honor was an element, and for the slaughter was another, but religion changed the way of thinking and fighting.

The Christian Boys School was below heaven and anything holy. Their methods of fighting would be more of a crusade and into the slicing with crude swords. The symbolization in fighting for Religion had a reputation.

The words in books they followed painted a picture of the way they would fight, but going through with it made them love it even more. Their bible was corrupt, satanic, and Erwin knew it.

The Bibal had been changed over the years based on changing values that were intertwined with the belief of good being and the least amount of pain. The changed Bibal was forced down the throats of Christian boys by whoever was leading the Parabellum.

Erwin prayed in her own way, that if she and her team were being captured, their method of disposing of and or torture, would be a hint above human comprehension.

Saemonza, the gunner of the Stug III, spotted movement far ahead. White bodies with gold rims shinning like a rainbow were going quickly through the trees and streets. All Cromwells, and a tank she never thought she would see, the Manticore. A tank named after a famed mythical creature.

It was going through the fields, drenching its tracks with thick mud, but still going strong. Its low silhouette and strong engine allowed such. Its 105mm gun shining proudly.

Aiming their gun dowards, at such an elevation that if their shot were to hit it. The shell would enter the top of the front of the Manticore. Where its armor was the thinnest.
