LUCK

"Gray!! I can't believe I suck at gambling!!" Lucy cries, whining at her ice mage friend. "Lucy-san... Please don't cry..." Wendy nervously laughs.

"Says the lucky girl who won every round!!" Lucy scoffs, Gray and Wendy guilty over their luck. "Carla, I lost!!" Happy wails. "Yes, I can clearly see that cat" Carla says with no concern.

Minutes went by and everyone was having fun. "Ooohhhhh!!!!!!" they heard a great shout of victory. "Young man, what did you just do?!" a man shouted. "What amazing luck!!" another shouted.

"Damn... Wish that was me!!!" and another whined. "What's going on??" Lucy asks, the team squeezing into the crowd to see a clueless Natsu in the middle, not sure what's going on.

"I told you!! That young man is amazing!!!" Martin laughed, Erza speechless. "Nice going young lad!!!" Martin laughed, squeezing Natsu into a hug.

It went on and on for hours, praising Natsu's amazing luck. "I can't believe he got that in just one round!". "And even worse, he's a first timer!!". "Damn it!! That luck, that amazing luck!!!!"

"Thanks young lad, you've done me a great favor today! Oh right, your reward" Martin says giving them their piece. "It was a fun experience mister Martin, well then, we shall be heading our way" Erza bows her head as Martin did likewise.

"Have fun on your trip young ones!!!" he bid goodbye before heading inside the casino. "Tch, in the end he gave us 45" Lucy curses, her friends giggling.

"Am I... really lucky?" Natsu asks all of a sudden, the gang stopping in their tracks. "Well you won that tripled jackpot on your first try, I can't deny I was impressed as well" Gray shrugged.

"Indeed" Erza nods in agreement. "Lucky... You think so??" Natsu asks one more time, staring at the ground. "Who cares, luck or not we still got money" Lucy grinned.

"You're just saying that cause you never won didn't you" Gray sighs. "Well sorry for not having luck on my side!" she sobbed.

"Come on let's go back home!"

"Curses..." Natsu groaned, Happy eating fish beside him. Lucy and the others were in the seats behind him, as there wasn't enough space. It has been half an hour since their ride on the train.

'Luck... Luck... Luck..... Luck...' he thought over and over an over again. 'Luck... Luck.... Luck... They're lying... They're obviously lying to me...' he thought, a little annoyed.

'They were lying... Liars... Liars... Liars... Total liars!!' he repeated over and over and over again. "Hey" he snapped on his thoughts, looking up to see Lucy sitting in front of him.

"Must suck, having to hate transportations" Lucy states, starting a conversation. "What about Wendy?" Natsu asks. "Don't worry, she's sleeping. Are all dragon slayers that... you know... having motion sickness and stuffs" she asks.

"Yes" he answered. "Luce, do you think I'm lucky?" he asked in a faint voice. He heard her giggle. "That's the third time you asked that. But I guess I half believe it, I'm not saying this cause I lost every round on the casino" she immediately stated, proving she didn't say those words cause she lost.
