The Dragon's Light

MISSION COMPLETE

"Erza-san!!!" they heard a shout from afar, Wendy, Carla, Lucy and the guards arriving before them. "Natsu-san!!" she smiles, Natsu patting her head.

"Damn it!" about to escape with his injured brother, they both felt their feet stuck to something cold. "You ain't going away that easily" Gray scoffs, the guards thanking them.

"Mission... complete..." Natsu groans, stumbling as Erza catches him on time. "Natsu, what's wrong??" she asks, Natsu slowly getting on his feet.

"I'm hungry..." he groaned, Erza sighing in relief, knowing nothing's wro- "Your back!!" she shouts, catching the falling Natsu in her arms once more.

"Wendy!" she calls out, slowly putting down Natsu on the ground. "Yes!" she immediately kneels down, starting her process of healing her injured friend.

"Natsu Dragneel? And Happy right?" he groaned, hearing someone unfamiliar call his name. "Aye sir!" Happy beams. "Mrmgh..." he slowly sat up. "Careful" Lucy says, helping him sit on the bed.

"Who are you?" he asks. "I'm Lucy. Lucy Heartfilia! And you're salamander aren't you??" she grins, her sparkling eyes meeting his dead black eyes.

Flinching on the word salamander, he glared at her. "Never say salamander in front of me again" he sneered. "Natsu!" Happy exclaims, Natsu coming back to his senses.

"Oh... I'm sorry" she looks down. "It's fine. Just don't do it again" he sighs, her nodding. "How's your back feel?" she asks, breaking the awkward silence.

"I'm fine now" he bows his head in thanks. "Natsu-san!" the duo turned around to see Wendy, Carla, Erza and Gray enter the room. "Wendy, Carla and I already recieved the rewards" Gray exclaims, walking towards his bed.

"I've also got a place for us to eat our dinner" Erza smiles in satisfaction. "Definitely a restaurant with cakes" Natsu answers through his deadpan face.

"Bingo" she answered proudly. "Come on, we're all hungry. Lucy was it? Come with us too" he proposed. "C-can I really??" she asks, grinning.

"Of course" Erza smiles, Lucy pumping her fists in the air in joy. "Come on everyone! To eat we go!!!" she directed happily.

"Let's sit here" Erza says, the gang nodding as they sit down one by one. The waiter arriving on her table, they started their orders.

"So Lucy, allow us to formally introduce ourselves. I'm Erza Scarlet" Erza introduces. "Gray Fullbuster" Gray follows. "Wendy Marvell. Also this is Carla" she introduces.

"And you're Natsu Dragneel and Happy right?" she grinned, Happy nodding. "Though I can't believe I fought with Fairy Tail today... What a wonderful encounter!!" she grinned.

"A pleasure to meet you" Erza smiles. "By the way... I'm kind of... thinking of.. joining Fairy Tail" she nervously laughed in awkwardness.

"You want to join our guild?" Gray asks. "Yes!" she answers in determination. "You're always welcome. A pleasure to make your aqquantance" Erza reaches out her hand, Lucy happily shaking her hand.

"Same here!!" she grinned. "Sirs, ma'ams" the waitress exclaims, putting their orders on their respectable tables.

"Thank you for the meal!!"
