"We'll be needing this... And this... Also decorate here and there..." Erza muttered. "Erza... her apartment's gonna get so full at this rate" Gray nervously suggests.
"Oh, you're right" she intoned, sadly taking down the other decorations for space.
-
"Well then, we're finished" Gray says in satisfaction. "Lucy-san wait!" they heard Wendy's voice from downstairs. Looking at each other, they both hid behind one of the sofas.
"What's with your panicking Wendy?" Lucy's voice sounding more clearer. "Clack" the door opened. "Congratulations on your new apartment Lucy!!" Gray and Erza suddenly popped up.
Tons of confetti flowing down from the confetti poppers. "Guys... It's just a new apartment" she giggled, dumbfounded of how they would go so far just for her new apartment surprise.
"Well, it's a celebration" Gray sneers, thinking of free food. "Thanks guys!" Lucy grinned. "No wonder Wendy let me buy all these foods" she says, putting down the bought foods on the dinning table.
'Nice one Wendy' Gray mentally thanked, staring at his sky dragon slayer friend, Wendy tilting her head in question.
"By the way.. My door was locked, how'd you..." Lucy's voice trailed off, staring at the trio, including Carla.
"Window" Erza and Gray answered, Lucy's jaw went agape. "Now now, it's a celebration. Come on, enjoy the party!" Gray grins, his arm around Lucy's neck.
"Ok ok! But please put a shirt on" Lucy covered her face with her hands. "Crap!" Gray shouts, looking down. "I'm slicing the cake everyone" Erza smiles.
'Strawberry cake. Wendy, how grateful I am' Erza mentally thanked, staring at Wendy with grateful eyes, the sky dragon concerned of why everyone is smiling at her with such thankful eyes.
"We haven't even gotten to the main course yet!" Lucy yells. Too late, Erza's already eating her piece of strawberry cake.
"This food is great!" Gray smiles in satisfaction. "A shirt! Put on a shirt" Lucy exclaims. "It disappeared?!" Gray exclaims dumbfounded.
"Easy everyone" Wendy nervously chuckles, Carla sighing. "Aye sirr!!!!" Happy came saluting as he enters the room. "You're finally here Happy" Gray greets.
"Aye!! Ah, fiishhh!!!" Happy flew straight towards the dinning table where the fish are served. "Natsu's not with you?" Lucy asks, Happy shaking his head.
Staring through the door, she couldn't help but question what's going on.
-----
Natsu yawned, the warm sunshine and cool whoosh of wind gushing through his skin. The chirping birds and silent background.
On top of the mountain, and seated on the tree brach, he was taking his loveable nap. Behind him was the grave of Lisanna, and where their 'home' is, which was what they built when they were young.
---
'Natsu! When we grow up let's get married!'
'No, you're my sister'
'Ehh... No funn... We're not even siblings by blood'
'Well I think of you as a sister'
'What? Noooo...'
'Come on, stop crying. I won't be your husband. I'll be your brother who protects you no matter what! Someone better will marry you, so don't cry... Lisanna'
'Natsu... let's get married after all!'
'I just explained it to you...'
