SUSPICIOUS

"I ate lunch by my own because I couldn't wake you up. You were sleeping so deeply" Natsu exclaims, gulping down his drink. "Mhm... I guesh shoo..." Happy answers, food on his mouth.

After finishing their dinner, the duo rest against the tree. "I'm stuffed..." Natsu yawns. "Natsu... I think I'm sleepy..." Happy groans, rubbing his drowsy eyes.

"Then do you want to wait for me here?" Natsu suggests, Happy shaking his head. "No, I'll go with you" he answers.

Hours later, Natsu looked up the dark night sky, stars showing their glamorous bright twinkle. "Come on, let's go" Natsu says standing up as he puts the fire out.

Lighting a flame in his left hand, he picked up his bag as Happy's wings appears in midair. Floating on air, the duo began to walk uphill the mountain.

'It should be glowing around here somewhere...' Natsu thought, as he stops and sniffs the air. Motioning Happy to keep silence, the duo stood in there in silence for minutes.

Suddenly, a knife came flying straight towards Natsu. Dodging in time, Natsu immediately puts his bag down as he runs towards the bush where the attack came from.

"Come out you bastard!!" Natsu shouts, hopping on the bush only to be attacked again. "Damn it!" the suspicious man cursed, pointing his knife against Natsu.

"Who are you?!" Natsu growled. "None of your damn business!!" the man attacked, as Natsu dodges. "Natsu!!" Happy shouts in worry. After a few attacks and dodges, Natsu finally got hold of his enemy's right arm, stopping the attacks.

Lifting his left hand, a knife was about to stab him when suddenly the man started screaming. "Hot!! It's hot damn it!!" the man struggled.

"Who are you, and what's your purpose on coming here" Natsu growled, his death shot eyes glaring at his enemy. Knives thrown on the ground, the man continued to burn.

"Not answering? How bold" Natsu tightened his grip on the man's hand, the flames becoming hotter and hotter, the man's skin burning in front of him.

"I only came for the flower!!" he finally spit it out. Letting go of his arm, the man fell on the ground. Blood dripping from his arm, the man continued to shout in pain.

"Why did you come for the flower? Who's your boss??" Natsu glowered. "No one! No one I swear!! Please spare my life, I won't illegally sell the flower anymore!!" the man spit out.

"Illegally... sell?" Natsu scoffs. "Surrender yourself and rot in jail. Unless, you not only want your arm to be burned right??" Natsu scowled.

"I will! I will I swear!!!" the man cried. Turning around, he picked up his bag. "Let's go" he says, Happy quickly nodding. He has to admit, he's a bit scared of his friend's sudden change.

But if there's one thing he truly wishes for, is to do anything for his friend's safety and happiness. He didn't want Natsu this way, he wanted the old Natsu back. But reality isn't fantasy.
