"They did make a promise..." People would mutter.
What promise?

But wasn't life...
The next morning you were accompanied by Steve, Bucky and Nat. Steve told you the WWII stories. While Bucky shared his experience about Hydra. It was good to talk to him, cause he could give important evidence and ideas to hack Hydra systems. Nat was good at girl talk and you made quick friends with her. You were soon met with Wanda who you bonded quickly with.
Then you made your way to the lab to meet Banner. You saw him working on something. You guessed it was about what Fury said about that meeting yesterday.
"Hey Banner." You said as you placed the glass of water on the desk.
"Hey Y/N"
"Watcha doin?"
"Studying the location of the base and and its defences."
"Found any?" You asked sitting beside him. Your eyes were looking at some codes, numbers and passwords.
"Not much. There are many codes we need to decode. We need Tony's help."
"I'll call Stark." You said. You looked at your phone but didn't see Tony's number.
"Dammit." You mumbled. You asked Banner for his number and the called him.
'Hello?'
'Hey Stark.'
'Oh Y/N, how's everything going?'
'Fine. We actually need help with a few codes. So get your ass back in the lab.'
'I'm with Morgan. Wait for a bit I'll be back.'
'Yeah. Bye.'
You ended the call and helped Banner a bit. Tony too came back and helped but soon he was yawning and called it break. You were explaining your mastermind idea of hacking through and it really bothered you when you found out he was paying 0% attention.
'Excuse me, I have an ice bucket with me. I guess it will give enough amount of energy without eating.' You said while snapping your fingers. Tony put his head up.
'You know,' He said standing up. 'I have this party at 6. Meet you guys then. I'm signing off now.' He went away after yawning a bit more. You and Banner stood there glaring at the place he once stood.
'So he actually listened to nothing.' You face-palmed.
'Sorry....' Banner muttered looking at you.
'Pity won't work here.' You said and went out of the lab.

You soon took a walk in a garden. You took a deep breath. You looked at your phone to see lots of missed calls from your parents. Yes, you knew that leaving your parents just like that was wrong. But why'd you go back to the people who destroyed your childhood. After what they'd done to you, you were definitely not going back. You felt an eerie feeling then. Like someone was watching you at a distance. You left immediately, feeling uncomfortable.

You then went to shopping with Nat and Wanda. Five hours later(with a lot of decisions and persuasion and girl talk.) You finally picked an outfit.
