You just stared at the dead man's body. Shocked.

'If you keep staring at a dead body like that and freeze, I may think you're dead too.' You heard a familiar voice. Tony.

You turned around to see the Avengers, bruised after the fight they put up.

'We need to get ready.' You said with a serious tone.

'You know what guys, I'm sick of this. I'll go and get some booze.' Clint said, rolling his eyes.

'Booze?! FUCKING BOOZE?! Listen to this Barton, we are cornered, from everywhere. Hydra agents are all around NY. AND YOU'RE THINKING THIS IS THE GODDAMN END!?' You burst out. All of them were shocked by your sudden outburst. You were a very kind person, and though the Avengers just met you for two days, they knew if the tested your patience too much, they were going out of the line.

'Remember so many people went missing. Remember that... They need help. And we... we are busy here partying? WE AIN'T GOT ANYTHING!? NO PLANS, DEFENCES, STRATEGIES, MISSIONS... JUST NOTHING!? DON'T YOU SEE HYDRA AIMING INNOCENT PEOPLE! THAT MEANS THEY ARE TRYING TO AIM THIS DAMMED WORLD! AND GUESS WHAT? THEY AIMED INNOCENT PEOPLE RELATED TO IMPORTANT PEOPLE!' You calmed down and angrily passed them.

'Oh and Clint... If you've got any idea then I'd like to see you try.' You hissed.

You went to the common room to watch some news. The Avengers followed you and asked for forgiveness, which you accepted. Tony had calmed you down, his hand was wrapped around your waist, your head on his shoulder.You were relaxed into him. That was until the reporter said something that triggered you.

'Two people in (insert your hometown) have went missing again. And this is about the L/N family. After their daughter shifted to New York, both of them had vanished a day after. Many people around the neighbourhood said they must've committed suicide because of their daughter's transfer or they must've...' The reporter continued talked more about the case but you couldn't here anything.

'I-I need a break.' You said with tears. You came out of Tony's arms, and went to your rooms balcony. You looked at the city. Sure your parents tortured you. But you still had a soft spot for them. You still remember those kind parents when you were 2. You just drowned yourself in tears. That was until someone knocked.

'Go away! Who ever you are! Just go.' You yelled at the door.

'Y/N it's me, Tony, won't you let me in?' You grumbled a bit and opened the door.

'What do you want?' It was more of a demand than a question. Tony sighed.

'Let's talk.'

'What about no.'

'I want to help you Y/N. Please...'

'Fine.' You let him in he sat next to you on your bed.

'I know you lost your parents but hey even I lost mine Y/N, we can't cling onto anything forever.'

'B-but they were the last bits of family, I-I had. Sure t-they were abu*hick*abusive, but they are st-still my parents. I have no one now.' You sobbed on to his shirt.

'You have the Avengers, but most importantly you have me, Y/N, remember what I said. I love you more than anyone. Not with your body, with your soul.I know, we just met but there is something called love at first sight. I've experienced it, when I saw you.' Tony kissed your hair.

'R-really?' You hicked.

'Really. So... do you wanna be mine? hehehe...' Tony chuckled nervously.

'Tony Stark asking for a girlfriend?' You smiled and said.

'For you, yes.'

'Then, that's a yes hon.'You winked and kissed him, which he gladly kissed back. You both soon fell asleep, both dreaming about each other...
