A small smile played on Y/N's lips as she looked at her wedding ring.

She was just married a week ago...

And she felt the bond much stronger than usual. With the man she loved the most.

Tony Stark.

The light yet freshening wind blew past her, her H/C locks delicately swaying as her E/C eyes drifted to the streets of Paris.

Tony had been spoiling her, in all ways possible, throughout the honeymoon. The words, "Mrs Stark", "Y/N Stark", or "wife" would escape his lips the moment he sees her. His beautiful soulmate. The light of his life. His sunshine. Tony kept his wife close to him, at all costs, out of love, protection and of course to make sure, that this small act of affection screams the letters "M I N E". The honeymoon was one of the few weeks of their life, without any chaos, any fight, or any violence. It was just him and her and the beautiful city, as peace and harmony prevailed.

"Babe..."

Y/N broke out from her thoughts as she saw Tony wrapping his strong and warm arms around her.

"So, can my wife tell her husband what she's thinking right now?" Tony asked as Y/N buried her head in his chest, failing to hide her smile.
"I hate you!" Y/N's muffled voice came.
"Oh, no you don't. You should know we had a love marriage, Mrs Stark." Tony chuckled, surely not helping the already crimson Y/N. "Now, what were you thinking, love?" He asked again. Y/N smiled and looked out of the window.

"I love this." she whispered against his chest.
"But I thought you loved me!" Tony pouted.
"Which I still do." Y/N playfully scoffed before sighing in content. "Can this be forever?" She mumbled.
"It will be," Tony reassured. "We'll find a place for us and our future, I promise."
"Are you sure? I feel like this pain would go on." She asked as Tony took a sharp breath. He stroked her hair, softly, as if she were to be handled like glass. Delicate yet strong.

"Pain won't last for long, my darling. The night is just an absence of the dawn. The clouds just block the sunlight. Pain is just the emptiness of enjoyment. It can only block it for a while, but it can never stop it. There is no use of pain without the peace like there's no value of the sun without the night." Tony explained. "As long as hope still stays in our hearts, I'm sure we will be out of here. With only you and me. Forever and always." He gave her a small smile as his hands intertwined with hers.  "Have patience, my dear."

Y/N grinned. She knew this was a small part of the peace, that was yet to be uncovered. But she cherished it, even if it was a tiny bit, she did with her husband. Tony picked her up bridal style to their room making Y/N squeal.
"Anthony!"
"Uh-huh, Mrs Stark, did you forget our lunch date?!" Tony laughed.
"Well, I was so absorbed by your "iNsPiRaTiOnAl WoRdS", I forgot about it." Y/N giggled.
"Ha ha. Very lame, Stark. Now, get ready." Tony chuckled.

Time skip~

"Babbbe. We've gone here like a million times, and Paris is known for its different, unique places. What is sooo special about this?" Tony whined, dangling his legs on the seat, pestering Y/N about how long it took for them to get their meal.

"It is special because it is special to me and because I said so and I'm special. Plus, that's a vague way to put it in. Anthony, you've been like travelling everywhere and we only went here like two times." Y/N answered.
"Two times?! You know what we can do two times and it's double the fun." Tony smirked as Y/N rolled her eyes over to him.
"You're a very dirty man, Stark." She sighed.
"But you love it, Stark." He chuckled.

"I wonder how did Maria handle you. Once we are back home, I'm searching for some of your childhood tapes and maybe title them as "Ways to handle Anthony Edward Stark, because he's still a man child." and I'll get an idea to manage your childish ass, at least." she said a smirk playing on her lips.
"Hmm... But I'm your man child, sweetie." Tony laughed.

A waitress came by and served them their ordered meals, finally shutting Tony up a bit. As soon as they were about to have their meals and continue their date, the restaurant blew up.

"TONY!" Y/N shrieked and blocked them and the pieces of the concrete debris that was falling upon them with her telekinetic shield.

Many people screamed as they ran out of there. Tony's childish self long gone, as he activated his suit. Both of them stood up and made their way through the remains. Many dead bodies laid there, of people who failed to run away. Y/N was well armed with her powers, the end of her overcoat blowing along with the dust. The Starks looked forward as they saw their assailant. Assailants.

A group of agents walked forward. All of them were masked except two of them. The two were fairly old yet they looked deadly and as energetic as the others. They were familiar. Y/N's eyes went wide as she knew who they were. She tilted her head slightly in confusion.

"Mom? Dad?"

CLIFFHANGER TIME!

What do you think Y/N will do? Would she attack the same parents who tortured her years ago? Or would she try to explain them the truth?

A small chapter, but I hope you guys are satisfied. Enjoy your day!
