Melody's POV
"Go ahead, ask me anything...I'll answer honestly!" mom said, speaking to both of us. "Why'd you give me up?" Liz asked. "I wasn't ready, I thought I was but I wasn't!" mom said. "Then how come you had me ten months later?" I asked. "I planned you, Liz wasn't planned...she was a complete surprise!" she said. "When were you planning to tell us?" I asked. "I really wasn't planning to tell you! I just couldnt have you hating me!" she said. I looked over at Liz and I could tell she was running out of energy to stand up! "Hey, I think you've had enough walking time for the day!" I said. "Yeah, me too" Liz said, sounding tired. I helped her back to her room and Kate met us in there! "So how was your walk?" she asked, hooking Liz's IV back up and turning it on so her meds would start running through it again. "Good, I would like to do it again tomorrow!" Liz said. "Great, I'm glad! You may wanna get some sleep tonight though, we don't want you not getting enough sleep!" Kate said. "Way ahead of you!" Liz said laughing. I was fixing my blow up mattress mom brought from home, thank the Lord she remembered! "Okay, well I'm the nurse on call tonight so if you need me just push the red button!" Kate said. "Thanks!" Liz and I said at the same time. "Night ladies!" she said walking out of the room. "Night!" I said. Liz was out within ten minutes, but it took me an hour to get to sleep! I was thinking about everything under the moon, I do that all the time! When I was finally tired enough, I looked at Liz then looked up and shut my eyes.
"No!" I heard Liz scream. It was after midnight. I got up and ran to turn the light on. "Liz, are you okay?" I asked. Tears were running down her cheeks...I knew what it was then! "Nightmare again?" I asked. She nodded and blinked a couple times. "Hey...look at me, no one's gonna hurt you here! You are perfectly safe, I promise!" I said, walking over to her and sitting on her bed. "I'm sorry I woke you up, and scared you to death!" she said. I hugged her, "it's okay, I don't mind!" I said. "Thanks for not minding!" she said, shutting her eyes. "You're my sister, there's no one else I'd do this for!" I whispered, shutting my eyes as well. I just slept with her, I didn't feel like getting up...and I was tired. "Night...again!" she whispered. "Night!" I whispered back.
