Melody's POV
"I am her mother, your mother, their mother, and I make the decisions; not you or Liz or Tara!" mom exclaimed. It was the next day and we were back at the hospital; mom and I were in a huge fight, and Liz hadn't woken up yet. "She IS doing the chemo that's best for her, and you and I both know what that chemo is!" she continued. I started crying. "Mom PLEASE, don't do this to me; don't take her away from me, don't do it. PLEASE!" I screamed, falling to my knees and putting my hands over my face. I repeatedly said the word please then felt a hand on my shoulder. "She's your daughter, our sister, Melody's best friend; you can't tell me you don't want her around!" I heard Tara say. "Girls, of course I want her around, but this new chemo..." mom said. "It is not the best thing for her, don't you dare say it because it's not!" I interrupted, crying. "I don't care, it's my decision and I will do whatever i think is best for her!" she exclaimed. Hope was walking into Liz's room. "Get a bag of the new chemo ready, she's doing it!" she continued, directing that straight to Hope. My tear filled eyes met Hope's. "Don't do it, please!" I cried, tears flowing down my cheeks. "Don't listen to her Hope, she has no idea what she's saying!" she said. "Come here." Hope mouthed to me. She hugged me and I just fell all to pieces. "I can't do this, I can't lose her, I know it's gonna happen but I don't want it to be now!" I cried into her shoulder. "Hey, listen to me; I'm not gonna let anything happen to her, not now or ever! She was with you through the worst part of your life, and that was my fault. I am not going to let anything happen to her, I promise! I PROMISE!" she whispered as I cried. "Stop making promises you can't keep Hope!" mom said. "You know what Natalie, knock it off!" Hope screamed letting me go. "I love you, I do, but I love your kids more! Their father didn't deserve to die, now their sister, her best friend, she doesn't deserve that same fate! I'm not doing it, I'm not putting Melody through hell again!" she continued lowering her voice. "If you don't do it, I will!" mom said, starting to walk away. "Why?" I screamed. "Why do you KEEP doing this to ME?!?!?!?!" I screamed with a cracking voice, walking really fast like and grabbing my mom's arm. "Dad's death was bad enough, it was hell for me!" I screamed, then looked back at my sisters. "It was hell for ALL of us, and you KNOW that!" I screamed. "I still remember the day he died, I remember you and Liz both dragging me out of his room, I was fighting both of you but when I looked Liz in the eyes after we got out..." I paused, fighting tears. "...I remember looking at her and mouthing 'he's dead, he's really dead' and she hugged me, and I cried!" I continued in tears. "I remember the funeral, I remember how I couldn't leave the cemetery because every bit of my heart was underground. Liz stayed, she stayed when no one else would! Even my own mother wouldn't stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed. Mom continued walking. "I wish it was you who died instead of dad!!!" I shouted. I immediately felt bad for saying, yet it felt good at the same time. I heard gasps from all of the people in the hallway. As I was turning to storm back into Liz's room, I saw my mom turn around with her mouth open wide. The last thing I heard was a mere whisper. "Melody." I saw my mom's mouth shape. "I really don't wanna hear it, you put that chemo into Liz's bloodstream and I, I can't even tell you what I'm gonna do cause I don't even know yet! All I can say is that you'll think twice before doing anything else to anyone else that I love!" I said, eventually lowering my voice, and walking back into Liz's room.

Tara's POV
It had been a few hours since Melody had told mom off; Liz had woken up and was eating something! "I wanna hear that song you've been working on!" Iris said, in this voice that always got Melody and I to do anything. "Home Is You?" Melody asked. She nodded her head. "But it's not finished!" Melody said. "Well, maybe you'll finish it while performing what you've got!" Elsa chimed in, in the same voice. "Okay fine!" I said, smiling. We got stools and sat on them, and Iris brought me my guitar. "This is Home Is You" Melody said. I began playing as I looked at Melody; she still wasn't okay, I could tell. "Favorite person in the room, no matter where we go!" Melody sang. "Highs and lows and inside jokes, and secrets no one knows!" I sang. "Love doesn't need a reason, and time doesn't mean a thing! As long as I've got you here, with me!" Melody sang, her voice cracking and her eyes watering. "Time zones, different roads, if I ever lose my way I'm not alone!" both of us sang. "One will do..." I sang. "...but we're better off as two." she sang, wiping her eyes. "Cause home isn't a place, home is you!" both of us sang. "We don't mind to waste our time, and laugh til we can't breathe!" she sang, smiling. "Steal her clothes but I always know she can't stay mad at me!" I sang, with a slight laugh, which made everyone else laugh a little. Liz smiled at Melody, I could tell she was about to fall back to sleep, so I motioned to Melody for her to go sit with her while we sang the rest of the song. She did and Liz put her head on Melody's shoulder. "I know that things are changing, and I know we can't stay the same..." I sang. "...she's the reason for who I am today!" Melody sang while tears ran down her cheeks. "Time zones, different roads, if I ever lose my faith I'm not alone!" both of us sang. "One will do, but we're better off as two!" Melody sang in tears. "Cause home isn't a place, home is you!" we both sang. "If I ever lose my way!" I sang really high. "If I ever lose my faith!" she sang regularly. "I know where to run to!" both of us sang. "Cause home isn't a place, home is you!" both of us sang again. "Home isn't a place..." she sang holding place for a little bit. Melody was in tears, and so was Liz. "...home is you!!" Liz joined Melody in singing this part, then Liz started crying. "It's okay, it's okay; I'm here, I'm here and I've got you!" Melody said with tears streaming down her face. "I'm not gonna let go, okay? I've got you!" Melody whispered. Katie was standing in the doorway; the twins had gone and gotten her so she could watch. Hope had told Katie everything, so, of course, she was crying too! "See, this is home for them; wherever the other one is, it's home!" Iris said. "You can't let mom do this to us, especially to Melody!" Elsa said. "You can instantly look at Liz and tell she doesn't wanna do it!" I said. Katie walked over to Melody. "I'm not gonna let this happen, if I have to sit in here all night that's what I'll do! I'm NOT letting this happen again! You cannot handle it, neither can your sisters!" Katie said to her. "Thank you!" Liz whispered still sniffling. "After hearing that song, I do not understand why ANYBODY would want to split you apart! Especially your own mother, I mean seriously!" Katie smiled, looking to Melody next. "I'm always gonna have your back, okay? Never think I don't!" she smiled. Melody mouthed "thank you" and Katie got up off her knees. "I'll be back in here right after I do my rounds, I promise! No more worrying, you're gonna be fine Liz!" she said. Liz started drifting back off, smiling! "We're like two in a million can't even begin to find..." Melody sang softly, looking at me. "...where I found you" we both sang softly. "What are the chances, that there'd be this magic when we touch" Melody sang as Liz grabbed her hand. "We've got something special..." I sang. "...on another level" she sang. "Like it's just me and you in the room" both of us sang. "Because something so brilliant is meant for just two in a million" both of us sang. "Because something so brilliant..." she sang. "...is meant for just two in a million" we both sang in a whisper. A tear escaped Liz's eye as she drifted off to sleep once more; she was smiling and Melody looked at me. "I know, I don't wanna lose her either!" I said.

Katie's POV
As we wrapped up rounds for the night, remembering the promise I made the girls, I headed up to Liz's room. "I'm her mother Hope, I decide these things!" I hear Natalie say. I sighed and sprinted into the room they were in. "Okay let me explain something to you! You GAVE HER UP, YOU put her in SOMEONE else's CARE for SIXTEEN YEARS, YOU did that, YOU didn't tell Melody she had a FREAKIN SISTER; I will NEVER understand why, but you did and it pissed her off! If you put the new chemo into Liz's body, Melody..." Hope said. "Melody what Hope, Melody WHAT? What is she gonna do, you're just gonna stop her if she tries anything, and don't say you won't because I know you!" Natalie interrupted. "That's just it, I'm not gonna stop her this time, you deserve it!" Hope screamed. "Melody has been through HELL, she has been through HELL because of YOU; not me, YOU!" she continued screaming. "And if you put her through hell again, she's gonna do something to you, and you WILL think twice before even touching someone she cares about!" she said, lowering her voice. "You know I might just do it, just to see what the hell it is she's gonna do!" Natalie smirked, half smiling and walking out of the room. "I'm not gonna stop her!" Hope screamed. Natalie threw up her famous whatever hand and continued walking. "She's going upstairs, RUN!" she instructed, knowing exactly where Natalie was headed. We both ran upstairs to Liz's room to find Tara waiting for us; we were relieved. "Have you seen your mother?" I asked. "No?" Tara said, concerned. "Why?" she continued. "She's gonna stop at nothing to make sure Liz is comatose and she's only doing it to get to Melody, mentally and emotionally!" both of us explained. "Liz and Melody both are sleeping, if Melody wakes up and Liz doesn't...." she turned silent. "We know, it's gonna be a bad, bad day!" I said. "What do we do?" Tara asked, worried for both of her sisters. "We keep promises, and wait!" I smiled. "What promise?" Hope asked. "I promised Melody and Liz that I'd sit and watch things tonight!" I said. Hope nodded understandingly. "Okay, let's keep promises and wait!" she said. We all nodded and I went with Tara into Liz's room!

Melody's POV
"Melody!" I heard Katie saying over and over. She was also shaking me awake. "I'm awake, I'm awake! What's wrong?!" I said jumping up. "Honey, I need you to help me wake Liz up, I've tried for the past hour and she hasn't budged!" she said frantically. "No! No no no no no!" I cried, walking over to Liz. "Liz? Liz? Liz please, PLEASE wake up! PLEASE!!!" I cried. "I need you, I need you here! I can't do this without you, PLEASE!!!!!" I cried. "PLEASE!!!!!!" I cried. I tried everything but...
...she never woke up
