Melody's POV

"I'm just going to leave you two to chat!" the doctor said walking out the door. As soon as she walked out, Tara came in and stood beside me!

"We can't be sisters, we have different last names...and different birth mothers!" Liz said, freaking out. "Yeah...not exactly! I'm so sorry I didn't tell you this sooner, I had trouble proccessing it myself...and I didn't know how to tell you and I'm so sorry!" I said. "Okay, so back in 95...my mom and your biological father 'did it' without my dad knowing, and she got pregnant! Then on February 21st of 96, she had a baby girl...and gave her up for adoption two weeks later!" I continued. "And that baby...was me?" she asked. Tara handed me her phone! "Yeah...Tara found your original birth certificate and took a picture of it, see for yourself!" I said! She took the phone and looked at it...and when I saw her start crying, I knew she believed me! I sat on her bed with her and hugged her, and started crying a little myself! "We're sisters...we're really sisters!" she said through her happy tears. "Yeah...we are!" I said crying worse. I hadn't had the chance to happily cry yet...up until now I had cried because I was so mad at my mom or because I missed my dad! When I looked up at Tara, she was crying too...then she mouthed "told you" and I smiled at her!

"Awh, you told her didn't you?" Kate asked, scaring the crap out of all of us! "Yeah, I told her!" I said smiling. "Well that's wonderful, it's about time someone did...how'd you tell her?" Kate said, curious. "Yeah...long story, tell you later! Oh and thanks for scaring us to death!" I said. "Okay! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!" she said, laughing. "It's okay!"I said, still crying a little. "Welcome to the family Liz!" She said, smiling. "Thanks, this is the best thing that's ever happened to me!" Liz said, still shaken up. "I bet so!" she said.

"Alright, are you ready to get up...start strengthening that muscle?" she continued. Liz looked at me and smiled...and right away I knew what she was thinking! "Yeah, I think she's ready!" I said. I bet my aunt could tell we had connected in the last few minutes, we do the whole "one look says it all" thing a lot...but it was nothing like what just happened! "Are you sure?" Kate asked, speaking straight to Liz. "Yeah, I'm sure...as long as Melody and Tara get to help!" she said, smiling. "Of course, what fun would it be if they didnt!" Kate said, laughing. "Alright, I'm going to unhook you from your IV pole so you can move without having to worry about it!" she continued. "Thanks!" Liz said. "You're sure you're ready?" I asked. She looked at me like: stop asking, please! "Okay okay, I'll stop!" I said, smiling. Tara and I helped her to her feet, and when Tara let go...Liz hugged me, like really hugged me! "Thank you...for helping me through this!" she said. I hugged her back crying, which made her cry! "I have never been so happy to hug anyone in all my life!" I said. "Me either!" she said. We stood there for a minute and I knew that I had done the right thing by telling her! "Okay, ready?" I asked, wiping away tears. "Yeah!" She said, smiling and wiping away tears. She held my arm and we began walking. We walked around the hospital for a while talking about all the things we were gonna do when she got out! For the first time since my dad died I felt like something was going right, I looked up and mouthed "thanks daddy!" and kept walking! "Hey Melody?" Liz said. "Yeah?" I said. "I think I'm ready to see her now!" She said. "Okay!" I said. We walked back to the waiting room and I motioned for my mom, mouthed "I told her, she knows!" and she nodded.

"Hi" my mom said. "Hey" Liz said.
