-Last chapter-

A gasp of air.

A blink of an eye.

A flinch of the toes.

Y/n shuddered a sigh as she looks up to the same white room she was in 3 months ago. The same sounds from the machines, the cold air that sends goosebumps up and down her arms, and the antiseptic scent that fills the whole hospital.

She panicked at her surroundings then she suddenly remembers what happened. "Crap." She utters.

"Crap is right young lady." Mrs. Cho came walking into the room with Mr. Cho and Miyeon following behind.

"You know I- wait. You remember?" Mrs. Cho asks.

"Cho Y/n, I would say it's nice to see you again but you're sitting in a hospital bed." Dr. Lee said as he looks at his clipboard then at the girl.

"How long was I under this time?" Y/n frowns. "Well let's start off with your full name and the date of your last memory." Dr. Lee instructed.

Y/n nodded, "Cho Y/n and the last thing I remember was that I crashed into a pole on, I think September 16 2020."

"Okay this is a good start. Ms. Cho your accident wasn't severe but you were in a week's coma. Today is September 23 2020." Dr. Lee said.

Y/n nods and she was hesitant to say something but she knew she needed it to be heard.

"Um there's something else you guys should know." She gulped.

"What is it honey?" Mrs. Cho panicked. "Does your leg hurt? Another headache? Do you need-"

"I'm fine mom, it's just..." She took a deep breath before facing Dr. Lee. "I remember the past year."

"WAIT?! REALLY?! Dr. Lee is that possible?" Her mother exclaimed. Dr. Lee was taken aback as he looks through the papers clipped to his clipboard.

"There m-might of been a low possibility but we're gonna have to run a few tests at your check-up." He said. "Mr. and Mrs. Cho if you would please follow me outside to discuss paperwork and the tests she would be going through."

The three adults then left leaving Y/n and Miyeon.

As soon as the door closed, Y/n jumped when her sister let out an excited scream.

"Oh my god oh mY GOD OH MY GOD." She freaked, in a good way. "So you remember? Like everything?!"

Y/n chuckles, "Yes Miyeon. I remember our dance performance at the talent show, I remember you getting your driver's license, I remember-"

"You remember Hyunjin." She smiled.

Y/n pursed her lips into a small smile, "I remember Hyunjin." She repeated. Then her eyes widened, "Oh my god Hyunjin! I have to tell him. I-I can't believe the last thing I said to him before my accident was me rejecting him."

"Hey hey you need to stay in bed." Miyeon said. "Telling Hyunjin can wait because now you have your memories back. That's all we needed and now we have it- you have it Y/n."

Y/n pouted, "I know this is great news but I've caused myself to be deprived from my Jinnie for two months. I don't think I can wait another minute."

"Let's wait until mom and dad comes back with Dr. Lee." Miyeon said before Y/n nodded.

-

"Y/n slow down! Remember, you'd just got discharged from the hospital...YESTERDAY!" Miyeon leaned back into the passenger's seat as she tightly hangs onto the grab handle.

"Why did I let you drive?" She cried.

She had her eyes closed then she felt a sudden stop. "Why'd you stop? Oh my god we didn't get pulled over, did we? Y/n I told-"

"Chill Miyeon. We're here." Y/n simply said. Miyeon turned her head to see the boy's house right in front of them.

The girl let out a deep breath of air before slumping into her seat. "Why don't you go ahead while I collect myself for a second?"

Before Y/n opened her door she turns towards her sister and took her hands into hers, "Thank you Miyeon. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten into that accident, getting my memories back."

"I'm sorry...and you're welcome?" Miyeon questioned.

Y/n just chuckles before exiting the car. She takes a deep breath in and out, making her way to the front door.

"Cho Y/n, you got this." She says out loud.

Knock. Knock.

She felt her body light up when she sees that Hyunjin was the one who answered the door. She freezes and forgets what she was going to say when her eyes meets his beautiful ones.

The boy widened his eyes when he realizes who was standing in front of him, "Oh my god Y/n?! I-I heard about the accident." He panics as he mindlessly caresses her face.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be resting, you're not hurt anywhere, are you?" He asks.

Y/n places her hands over his, "My sweet prince is worried about me." She pauses before going in for a kiss on Hyunjin's lips.

"But I am all better now." She smiles.

Still widened eyes, "What- what did you say? A-and that kiss." He stutters.

She laces her hands with his, "I remember Jinnie. I remember everything." She says.

There was a moment of silence.

"AHH." She shrieks. Hyunjin, without warning, happily picked up the girl in his arms, spinning them both.

Y/n then playfully pushes Hyunjin back. "Now that I have found myself, how about that date I stupidly rejected earlier?"

"Hmm." Hyunjin played along. "I think I can make a few arrangements for you." He slowly starts to lean in, placing her stray hair behind her ear. "I missed you so much."

"I've been here all along." She nods.

"You know what I mean."

She has a small smile on her face, "I've missed you too."

the end.
