Knock. Knock.

"Y/n. What brings you here again? Does Miyeon need to b-" Hyunjin started, about to leave the house before Y/n stopped him.

"No actually. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me. I'm headed to the mall." She smiles.

"Why me?" He asks.

"You see, I was supposed to go with Seojun today." Hyunjin's face tensed up at the sound of her going with someone else. "But he's caught up with homework. Miyeon is out with her friends, and well..." She purses her lips, smacking them in the process. "You seem to be home alone...again."

He let out a light chuckle, "I guess I shouldn't let you head to the mall alone. Wait here a second, let me go grab my bag."

"Okay."

Y/n waited a few moments before Hyunjin came back with his jacket on and his bag on his shoulder.

flashback

Last night

Hyunjin laid on his bed as he stares up at the ceiling. He sighs for what seems to be for the hundredth time.

He didn't notice but there were three boys lurking outside his bedroom. "Do you think he's mad about what we did?" Jisung whispers. Changbin shrugged, "Doesn't look like it."

"Did we make the right choice?" Felix frowned.  "I feel like we just made things worse." He added.

"I called Miyeon earlier, she knows what to do." Changbin said.

Just as Changbin said that, Hyunjin's phone started to ring. The boys scattered, leaving the bedroom's area before they were caught by the boy.

Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows as he sat up. He didn't feel like talking to anyone until he saw the Caller ID.

'Miyeon' It read.

He hasn't seen or spoken to her ever since that day so seeing that she's the one calling surprises him. She left really angry at him and he sees no reason why she would call him.

"H-hello?" He nervously answers. There was a sigh heard on the other side of the line, "You need to see my sister."

"Miyeon I'm sorry I gave up like that but what made you change your mind?" He asks.

"You see Chan talked to me." She simply said. He smirked when he heard his older friend's name, "You and Chan have been talking a lot lately."

Miyeon lets out a light chuckle, "Have we? I di- I didn't notice." She clears her throat, "Um I didn't call to talk- to talk about Chan. I actually have something to tell you."

"Is it still about Y/n?" Hyunjin frowned.

"Actually yes. Y/n's going to the mall tomorrow and she's gonna have no one to go with so that's where you step in. She's going to your house after school again tomorrow and you are going to say 'yes'."

"What makes you think she will want to go with me?" He continues to frown. "You may have heard what she said, but you don't know how she actually feels." She said.

Hyunjin sighs.

"We may not be able to restore her old memories but maybe you can make some new ones." Miyeon said, hoping to put some faith in the boy.

Giggling.

"Here. This should help with the pain." Y/n said with a 'sorry' look on her face as she passes Hyunjin a bag of ice she got from the manager of the rolling rink.

He chuckles, "Thanks." He places the cold item on the back of his head. "You know when you said 'mall', I would've thought we were just shopping, not roller skating."

She sits next to the boy, making an 'oops' face, "I'm sorry about that. I guess I can't resist my temptations. Also I would've have brought us here if I knew how bad you were." She laughs.

"Hey hey I'm a natural. It was that kid who had bumped into me, making me fall back...hitting my head on that hard wooden floor." He sighs, rubbing the back of his head.

"Well we can get out of here and do what we intended to do when we came. Shop." Y/n smiles. Hyunjin chuckles, "Yes please."

The two has been walking around at the mall for only an hour now and they each have at least three full bags of clothes or anything that seemed to have caught their eyes as soon they have entered the stores.

Right now they seem to be on their way to finding their next store.

The walk was longer than the previous ones so the silence became more aware to Hyunjin.

He clears his throat to break that silence, "So...uh. What's the deal with you and Seojun?" He nervously asks.

She furrows her eyebrows as they walk side by side. "We're just friends. Why do you ask?"

"Huh? No-no reason. I just-" Hyunjin looked back for a second and he widened his eyes when noticed two people, specifically parents. It was Y/n's parents, not far but thankfully not close.

"What's wrong? WOAH." Y/n tries to keep up with Hyunjin's fast footsteps as he pulls them to the side, away from her parents line of sight.

They have reached a wall and without thinking, Hyunjin leans in close to hide them both, hopefully they won't see them when they pass.

Y/n had her eyes closed at the boy's sudden actions and when she slowly opened her eyes, she notices that he was closer than expected. "What are you doing?" She blushed.

"Uh." He looks back and sees that her parents are long gone. He lets out a relieved sigh before turning back to the girl. He gulped at how close they were. "I'm sorry. I was uhh excited to see this store." He said.

Y/n looks up the store's sign and pursed her lips, trying so hard to not laugh, "Victoria's Secret?"

Hyunjin panicked, looking at where they were. "Um are you hungry?" He changes the subject. She smiles, "Yeah."

"Great. Food court is this way." Hyunjin pulled her hand.

Y/n stops the boy as she pulls them to the opposite side, "It's actually this way."

He lightly chuckled, "Right."
