"Hyunjin she is literally the best." Changbin exclaimed, setting himself on the couch. The boys just got home from a whole afternoon of hanging out with Y/n.

"I know. She doesn't gush over us, she talks in dominance, and is able to control Jisung's hormones." Jeongin added also laughing at the pouting boy.

Jisung sat next to Changbin. "No girl has ever embarrassed me like that. Like I said, she's lucky she's pretty." He pouted.

"I now understand why you've kept her a secret from us." Chan then looked at Hyunjin slouching in one of the chairs seated at the kitchen counter. "Why don't you just tell her you guys were in a relationship. Don't you want her to remember everything?"

Hyunjin looked deep in thought. He sighed, licking his lips, "It's not that easy."

"There's more to the story, isn't there?" Minho inspected the boy's emotions considering he is right.

A week after the accident

"Okay Mr. Hwang please sign these release forms and you are ready to go. It's a miracle that you have recovered in a week, but please come back next week for a follow up." Dr. Lee holds the clipboard as he walks out the room.

"Wait." He called. "May I ask if the patient, Cho Y/n, is doing fine as well?"

"You guys were in the accident together right? If you want to take a visit, her room number is 404. Right down the hall." Hyunjin thanked Dr. Lee and left the room.

"She's been right down the hall this whole time? Oh my god."

Before he went to her room Hyunjin stopped by the gift shop to pick up Y/n's favorite flowers.

Yellow roses.

Once he got off the elevator he sees Miyeon passing back and forth and she looked very stressed.

"Hey. Miyeon." He greeted.

She widened her eyes and went to hug the boy. "Oh my god Hyunjin. I'm so happy that you are okay. Are you still hurt anywhere?" He just shook his head then she punched his arm.

"Hey what was that for?" He winced.

"I've been asking the nurses for your room number all week and they kept saying they couldn't let that information out because we weren't 'family'. So I kept calling your phone and it just went straight to voicemail." She explained.

"I'm sorry. My parents really wanted me to stay in bed and rest so they took my phone. But here I am and I really want to see how my girlfriend is doing. So is she awake, is she alright?" Hyunjin walked past Miyeon but she quickly stepped in front of him.

"Um Hyunjin I think we need to talk." Miyeon couldn't look him in the eyes. She was about to speak until her mother called her.

"Miyeon honey why don't you grab your father and I some coffee please?" Mr. and Mrs. Cho had unreadable expressions.

Miyeon gulped, "But-"

"Now." Mrs. Cho sternly said.

She sighed and left.

"Hello auntie and uncle. I'm here to see Y/n, is she awake?"

"Is she awake? Is she awake?!" Mrs. Cho was about to go off on Hyunjin until Mr. Cho held her back. "Hyunjin I don't think you being here is best." He said.

"Huh? Can I...can I at least-"

"She doesn't want to see you." Mrs. Cho blurted out. "You seem to be recovered and walking about but...Y/n my daughter is in there, still laying in that bed. Probably weeks until she is fully healed and she blames you for what happened."

Hyunjin's eyes started to water. "I'm sorry boy but Y/n has decided to break up with you and she asks if you don't ever see or talk to her again."

Hyunjin didn't want to cry in front of Y/n's parents so he tried to choke it down. "Um tell her I'm sorry for what happened and I understand if she doesn't ever want to forgive me."

"Please give her these flowers and I'll be on my way." He handed the bouquet to Mrs. Cho and walked away with his head down.

"Here's your coffee- where's Hyunjin? Did you guys tell him about Y/n? I should get him." Miyeon was about to find the boy before she was stopped by her parents.

"No. No need. Look Miyeon, Hyunjin won't be associated with Y/n anymore so I would like it if you stop hanging out with him too." Mrs. Cho said.

She furrowed her eyebrows, "But Hyunjin is like family, we can't just cut him out of our lives like that."

"Did you not just see your sister laying in a hospital bed because of a coma? He caused that, him. He was the one driving." Mrs. Cho argued.

"It wasn't like he did it on purpose. It wasn't his fault, we were at the scene, you know that it was that drunk driver's fault."

"Save it. Take this and throw it away, I don't want to see that near Y/n's room." Mrs. Cho handed Miyeon the bouquet and left to go back into Y/n's hospital room.

"If she wakes, no, when she wakes up from her coma I want you two girls to stay away and have no more contact with that boy, got it?" Mr. Cho said.

"I-"

"Got it?" Mr. Cho said more sternly.

Miyeon sighed, "Okay got it." Mr. Cho left, leaving Miyeon in the middle of the hallway. She pouted and looked at the bouquet in her hand. "You're too pretty to be thrown away, let's find you a worthy owner."
