December 20th:

Eleanor P.O.V

December 20th and we are still walking? What the biscuit? I got up and pulled my best Christmas shirt on just to feel a bit more festive. I woke up Lou, and we started to walk yet again. Before long we came to a part of the river we had been following for days, where it got wider to the extend where it completely ate the trail we were on.

But right in front of us were a frozen waterfall with small cave underneath. It looked like something from a really cheesy Christmas movie, but in a non cheesy way. At the top of the waterfall was frozen water that poured out of the mountain top and got stuck in the small lake the river turned into.

Louis looked at me mischievously and pulled me into a quick hug before running out on the ice. Halfway there he turned around and motioned me to follow him as he rummaged his pocket for something.

When I reached him, he was under the waterfall and it looked like a glass curtain that separated us from the real world. Like we were in our own fairytale or something.

“El?” Louis said from somewhere behind me and I turned around just to find him down on one knee.

“I was gonna wait until Christmas morning, but I honestly can’t think of a more perfect place to do this.

Eleanor, I love you, with everything I have and every time I go on tour or just are away from you, it feels like someone is taking away the air I breathe. You are the one person who sees me not for the famous Louis Tomlinson, but Louis the kid that never grow up and act weird all the time. You are my world, my life, my reason to live and I love you more than anything, so Eleanor Jane Calder. Will you marry me?”

I could feel the tears on my cheeks and my hand, that had started to cover my mouth somewhere along the way, flew away as my answer came out with a hundred miles an hour.

“YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!” He smiled widely and pulled me into his warm and loving arms. This is where I belong, this is my home and no matter what happen, I’ll never love anyone as much as I love my Boobear, I thought as I pushed my lips gently onto his.

“I’ll always love you, Ellie!” he said as he pushed the small silver ring with a ruby in the shape of a heart onto my cold finger.

“I’ll always love you too, LouBear!”
