Jackson and I ride out to Hampton's house together, feeling the dread that is waiting for us. His hand is on my stomach and he is promising us for the millionth time that nothing bad will happen. I'm not sure who is more afraid of seeing my mom – me or him.

I want to still be in Vancouver in our little bubble of bliss. There we were happy, and not worried that someone was going to ruin our happiness. Jackson and I set a date for our wedding in Northern California in September. He found us a gorgeous place that will marry us under the stars and let us party until sunrise. The moment we saw the photos of the clearing with tall, beautiful trees, I said yes. We plan to have the wedding ceremony for his parents and then we planned the biggest, baddest party to celebrate after.

My husband really wants the traditional ceremony before the baby is born, and that's the least I can give him. After we wrapped in Vancouver, we flew back to LA to visit with my OB/GYN and she was the only person we trusted with my care.

Dr. Johnstone confirmed that I was pregnant, and my due date was around Valentine's day, which was fitting for this baby. Our appointments were scheduled, and we would start seeing her every four weeks for checkups.

I decided that I was taking a break from signing onto another film at this time, but Jackson was already committed to two movies and he was unhappy about it.

"I don't want to leave you." He says as if he can read my thoughts now.

I reach across the car and grab his hand. "We don't want you to go either. Maybe you and Ollie can finally move into the LA house now? Might be a bit weird to continue to sleep without my husband and baby daddy. That way when you leave for filming...I'll have Ollie to watch after me?" I smile with hope.

He brings my hand to his lips and kisses it. "The movers are already moving us to the huge house in the hills. A house I apparently now own."

"True story." I laugh.

"We just have to get through the press tours and premiere and then I'll tell everyone and anyone that will listen that you are my wife." He smiles proudly.

"Are you serious about moving in right now?"

"I hope. I left Ollie in charge, so it's a big chance." He laughs.

Our laughing stops the minute we pull up to the house and the tension grows thick in the car. I know how much he was dreading seeing my mom, he doesn't make it a secret about disliking her. He is so angry with the way she treated me growing up and how she lied to keep us apart.

Nate and Kyle are standing in the driveway like they have been waiting for us to arrive. Jackson pulls the car next to them and puts it in park. He climbs out and the boy's whistles at his new toy. He purchased a brand-new Aston Martin when we were on set in Vancouver and they delivered it to his condo in New York. He hugs each of them a welcome before opening my door and helping me out.

"Are you guys on the welcoming committee?" I grin at them.

Kyle brings his beer to his lips and nods. "Sure. Something like that."

"Oh no." I look between my brother and Jackson.

"We need a break from all the tension inside. Dad filed for divorce from mom last week and moved out to Malibu with Paul. All three sane parents want to sell this property, but our mom isn't budging. All she has left is this house and the Upper house." Nate informs us.

I roll my eyes. "Of course."

"Are they inside?" Jackson asks.

"Yep. Since Sarah and I aren't getting married here, she found us a place in the Turks around Christmas. I'm hoping you'll be my best man?" Kyle smiles at his brother.
