SHANTI POV:
It was the day before Anthony meet the family. Avani was at Anthony's place and I was helping my dad pick out a suit.
"Should I get black glasses. Yeah I think they'll make me look more intimidating." He said answering his own question.
"Dad no! Don't try and look intimidating he's scared enough." I said. I was with Avani the other day when she was texting Anthony and she let me see her texts and he kept texting her about how worried he was about meeting us, it was kind of funny but nice at the same time.
"It's fine this way if he gets scared away well know he's not for her." He said snickering.
"Okay." I said shaking my head.

Lewis {Avanis dad} made reservations to a restaurant so we gave Priya the choice if she wanted to go because she didnt like restaurants and didn't care to meet Anthony. She said no which we excepted. Once he was finished buying what he wanted we went back home.

"Look honey." He told mom while putting on his glasses. The glasses had a black frame and black lenses so you couldn't see his eyes. He then showed her his new suit and shoes.
"That suit is beautiful but you are not wearing those glasses." Anisha said. {Avanis mom}
"Why? They make me look cool and intimidating." Lewis danced weirdly with them on.
"Why do you want to scare him so bad?" She sighed.
"I've seen his TikToks. I think he a f-boy."
"A what boy?"
"Fuck boy." He whispered into moms hear.
"Ohh stop. You can judge him off his TikToks."
"Still I don't want Avani getting her heart broken so I'm doing my thing." He said exaggerating the word thing.

Dad does "his thing" every time me or Avani get a boyfriend. He'll talk to the guy and try to scare him and know his trues intentions for dating us. He says that their are three possible outcomes. One, the boy doesn't want to meet him and never does, which shows he isn't ready to be in a committed relationship. Two, he gets to scared and leaves the relationship, which as never happened and I think will never happen because he isn't that intimidating. Three, he gets scared but still meets him tells him his intentions, my father likes the boy, drops his intimidating act and shows him how nice he is and accepts him. That's only happened once and it was with my boyfriend.

AVANI POV:
It was that day Anthony was going to meet my parents and he called me and told me he needed me and that it was urgent. So i finished getting ready which I was basically done with and ordered an Uber. I knocked on the door and was greeted Vinne, "You look amazing!"
"Thank you. You look umm shirtless." I said awkwardly. He chuckled and told me to come in. It seemed like he was about to ask me something but I cut him off by asking, "Is Anthony in his room?"
"Right of course Anthony, he's in his room." He said. I walked shyly to Anthony's room and could feel Vinnes eyes on me but I didn't mind it.

"Hey bebe."
"Hey baby so tie or-" He stopped when he saw me and said, "You look stunning!" With his jaw dropped and eyes wide.
"Thank you." I couldn't help but smile and blush at his reaction. I complimented him because he also looked amazing.
"What were you gonna ask me?"
"Tie or no tie?"
"Mmmm tie." I said. He started back to his closet to finish getting dressed but turned around and ran to me and gave me a kiss and told me how amazing I looked agin before putting on a tie. I wanted to fall into his arms and let him carry me to where ever he wanted but I just got flustered and stood their stupidly which made him giggle.

He wasn't showing it put I could tell he was scared and it made me feel bad but not really.
"So we have like an hour and a half before we have to get their. So let's start going." He urged.
"Bebe did you here yourself we still have like an hour and traffic isn't that bad this late." I told him.
"But-"
"Babe calm down their gonna like you." I assured.
"You don't know that."
"Yes I do because I like you like a lot, and I have good taste so their gonna like you." I explained surely.
