AVANI POV:
It was the first day of school (online) and I was trying to have a positive outlook on it. To make it easier to have a positive outlook I decided to sleep in an extra hour and order myself an Açaí bowl.
"Vani this is for you!" Pryia said poking my arm to wake me up.
"Yeah just set it over there." I mumbled half asleep.
"Mom told me to wake you up because you have to do your classes." She said shaking me harshly.
"Okay okay." I said pushing her hands of me. She asked grumpily were to put the Açaí bowl, so I pointed my nightstand.

"Why are you even up so early?" I asked.
"I also have classes." She said as if it was obvious.
"Don't you start next week?"
"Ohh yeah we didn't tell you, I skipped eighth grade." She said without emotion.
"Congrats!" I said opening my arms to hug her. She went into my arms put didn't hug back.
"Okay." She said for me to let go of her.
"Are they all regular classes?" I asked.
"No Math and Social Studies are AP classes. I asked the counselor if I could take all my classes as AP classes, but she advised me to take only two AP classes since it's my first year in highschool so I might not be used to it and it becomes to much for me and then I end up flunking." She explained chuckling at her last few words.
"Makes sense. Is there an inside joke I'm missing?" I asked awkwardly trying not to sound rude or mom like.
"Ohh no I just find it funny that the counselor thinks I would fail. But with less AP classes I get to play more." She said with a spark of amusement from just mentioning playing her games, I saw that as my chance to start a conversation she was interested in.

"Ooooo what games have you been playing?" I asked. Her eyes lit up and she sprung onto my bed.
"World of Warcraft, the Whitchers 3 stuff like that but I'm going to find different games to play once my pc parts come in. I'm building a new one that's red and black. And I want to preorder the Xbox Series X and ps5, my NintendoSwitch is on its way, and I'm finally getting a VR setup...." She babbled on ecstatically. It was rare for her to get excited about anything other then her video games or anime -maybe a few other things here and there- so I was happy that she was taking to me with such emotion even though I didn't understand much of what she talked about.

We ended up in her room because she wanted to show me her room decorations so far. The walls were black and she had red led lights and almost everything else was a dark color. A bit depressing when I first saw it but I figured it would look better when she puts more things in it.
"Okay that's it you can go do your homework." She said shooing me out of her room.
"Wait! Can you do it for me please?" I asked.
"No. I don't even know what you stuff is about so I'd probably get everything wrong."
"No you wouldn't your really smart. You'd understand in like a second. Come on please." I begged trying to boost her ego a little in hopes of convincing her.
"Fine but this is the only time and I would like you to preorder the Xbox."
"Sure I'll do it later today or tomorrow swear." I promised before hugging her. It was always funny to hug her because she usually tried squirming away.

"Okay I'm go take a shower bye." I said.
"Wait." She stopped me."Where are you going?"
"Anthony invi- well technically Vinne but I'ma go over to Anthonys and we're going to swim in his pool and stuff."
"What stuff?"
"Why are you so nosey."
"Who's doing your homework." She smirked.
"Well i don't know couple stuff."
"Isn't there going to be other guys?"
"Yeah what about it?"
"Are you going to do couple stuff with them."
"PRIYA NO! Do you not know how relationships work?"
"We've never learned about them in science or social studies." She shrugged.
"We'll talk when I come back k."
"Okay." She said.

Priyas gone to extremely small, well funded, all girl schools for most of her life so she never experienced regular school occurrences. Like people dating, bullying, gossip, or real world problems. She barely socialized in school, most of her friends were online friends so she didn't know much about relations off any kind. So I decided to teach her about dating when I came back from Anthony's place.
