Chapter 26

ANTHONY POV:
I slept all day yesterday and planned to do the same today. But that plan was ruined when I heard a knock on my door.
"Anthony can I come in?" Someone asked.
"No!" I yelled.
"Umm well Avani is waiting for you!" They yelled threw the door. I got up and walked to my door. "What did you say?" I asked.
"Avanis in a car waiting for you she said to please give her a chance to explain everything." Josh relayed the message from Avani. I scoffed and mumbled, "Tell her I'll be their in five minutes."
"Okay." Josh said.

I freshened up and changed. I sat in my chair and contemplated if I should go. I decided to give her a chance because I did miss her. I walked down to the door and looked threw the peep whole to see her waiting in the car tapping her fingers slowly on the steering wheel. I sighed and open he door. Her head turned when I walked out and she smiled. I didn't smile back. I just got in the car and sat silently. She nervously said she needed to take me to a few places. I nodded my head and she began to drive.

Our first stop was at an outdoor concert stage.
"This is the first place we hung out and got to know each other." She said smiling and handing me a card.
She drove to two other places. Where we had our first kiss and where she feel in love with me. She handed me a card at each location that talked about why each place was special to our relationship. I didn't say much and just smiled. I loved the thought but none of it made up for the fact that she cheated. The last place she went was to a park. She didn't give me a note she turned off the car and faced me.

"Anthony that video you saw wasn't what it seemed like." She alleged.
"Avani I know what I saw-" I was about to tell her we should take a brake when she begged,"Please let me explain Anthony." I nodded giving her a chance.
"We got to the party. Amelie and Charli went their separate ways. I guy saw me alone and came up to me and told me to come play a game in one of the rooms. I had nothing better to do so I went. I saw that they were playing seven minutes in heaven so I turned around to leave the room but a girl stopped me and convinced me to play. The guy you saw me waking out with spun the bottle and it landed on me. I didn't want to be the boring person at the party so I went in with him but we didn't do anything. He tried but I rejected him. But before our time was up he asked if we could make it seem like we just had sex. I didn't see anything wrong with it because all we did was make our clothes look like it was put on in a hurry and messed up our hair a little bit." She tried explaining the whole thing.

"How do I know your not lying?" I asked skeptical.
"Anthony when have I done anything for you not to trust me. I love you I would never cheat on you. Please believe me." She said sadly. I looked at her trying to tell if she was lying or not.
"What did you do for seven minutes?"
"We just talked about France. He was boring to talk to there was no connection. Nothing went on." She insisted. I looked away from her and thought about it. Everything made sense but something wasn't adding up.
"Who would video that and send it to me. Why?" I asked.
"Some guy was mad because I rejected him. I told him a had a boyfriend and he was like I don't see him. So I told him you were in California. He probably found out who you were and sent you the video."
"Avani I know you lying the video was airdropped to me. I know some guy didn't fly all the way here to air drop me a video!" I said starting to get irritated that she wasn't telling the truth.
"How am I suppose to know what other people do!" She said defensively.
"Avani if you don't tell me the truth I'm getting out and walking back to Sway!"
"If I tell you the truth you can't hurt him or get mad at me." She said.
"Avani I would never get mad at you for telling the truth and who is the guy you don't want me to hurt?"
"You'll understand in a second." She said before telling me everything.

When she finished telling me what happened I didn't say anything until we were both in the back row of the car. I wanted to be able to hold her.
"I believe you." I said quickly still shocked about what she told me. She told me how she was paired with Payton for one of the meet and greets. She also told me about their encounter on the elevator. I was so mad at myself for not picking up the phone when she called me but I knew there could do about it anymore. The only thing I could do was apologize to Avani and hold her while she cried.
