Chpater 38

AVANI POV:
I woke up early because I felt something poking my thigh. It was Anthonys knuckles that I was laying on. I rolled off of his hand and the popcorn bag, throwing the bag on the floor and putting his on hand on his stomach. For some reason the rooms lights were turned on which stopped me from falling back asleep so I admired Anthony for a while.

"Anyone awake?" Jordan whispered peaking his head through the door.
"I am."
"We're probably gonna start working out in like an hour and thirty." He informed me.
"Okay." I said. He smiled and closed the door.

I laid my head back on Anthony's chest and listened to his heartbeat, slow and steady just like his breaths. My heart and breath synced with his and I began relaxing so much that my eyes grew heavy. I would have fallen asleep agin if Anthony didn't mumble,"Avani..." And move his hand around my torso.
"Afony." I replied in a tired but funny British voice. He mumbled something else I couldn't understand and shifted his body to better hold me. I stayed in bed with him for a few minutes but warned him, "Bebe in a few minutes Ima ask J if he can take me home so I can change." He groaned in disagreement and mumbled something again.

"What?" I asked.
"Give me five minutes bebe." He whispered one eye squinting open.
"Give me a kiss." I whispered back. He slowly opened his eyes with a grin on his face that got wider as he took in a deep breath and stretched his arms out. With a quick breath he kissed my forehead and said, "I slept so good."
"Did you wake up and turn on the lights?" I asked.
"Oh yeah I had to pee." He laughed giving me another kiss as an apology.

Once he was awake enough we got up, got in Vinnes car, and went straight to my house. It was nine in the morning so I was surprised when I didn't see my dad roaming around the house but after making to much noise my he came out from his room and greeted us. Once my dad went back to his room Anthony laid on my bed and took a nap while I got ready. I put on a sports bra, a purple crop top, grey leggings, and an oversized white jacket. I felt cute in my outfit so I took a few pictures but had to stop myself from staring at them for to long knowing I would grow to hate them if I analyzed them for to long.

Once in the bathroom, I wet my hair with a spray bottle and brushed out any knots I had. There was a few so it gave me a slight headache having to pull harshly at my hair to detangle it. I put in minimal leave in conditioner and didn't scrunch my hair or do anything to define my curls, I liked the wavy messy hair look. While I brushed my teeth I sat next to Anthony and rubbed his back. He put his head next to my thigh and sighed tiredly. I rubbed his head and kept brushing my teeth only stopping when to much foam started to build up.

Once I was ready I went to say hi to my mother who was still in bed.
"Good morning!" I said happy to see her agin.
"Hey sweetie!" She said putting her book down, "I'm reading the book you told me about?"
"Let me see." I said grabbing her book and checking what chapter she was on, "Ohh you're about to get to the good part."
"No spoilers." She laughed.
"What are you reading." My dad asked me.
"Nothing I've been writing in my journal instead."
"Looks like I just found myself something to read." He joked. I shook my head at his bad joke and changed the subject, "Is Priya awake."
"I don't know she's starting to fake being asleep so that we'll leave her alone." My mom said.
"Learned from the best." My dad said pointing at me and making us all laugh.

I hugged my parents goodbye before going to check on Priya. While I was hugging my mom she whispered, "I'm sorry about everything I said and-"
"It's fine mom." I assured her not wanting to talk about the past two weeks anymore. She smiled endearingly before hugging me once more.

I could tell Priya was actually sleeping since she was snoring, so I left her alone. I knew there was no way she was faking her snores. I heard her snores for fourteen straight years of my life so I could tell they were real.
