Cgapter 35

ANTHONY POV:
The past week was entertaining and fun, being with all my friends, doing the stupidest stuff we could thing of, and forming stronger bonds with everyone was nice. But as fun as it was to be with my friends and have some space from Avani I missed her and needed her.

So the second she was ungrounded I went to go pick her up. But first I had to call her dad.

"Mr. Gregg?" I asked when I heard weird clicking sounds through the phone.
"Hey Anthony, what's up?" He asked.
"Nothing much I just wanted to ask if it was a good time to go pick Avani up."
"I'm pretty sure she's still asleep but come over because she will be up by the time you get here and I'm making breakfast." He invited me.
"Perfect I'll see you later Mr. Gregg."
"Okay I'll see you later Anthony."
"Bye." I said hanging up.

Since I was going to eat breakfast with them I changed to more suitable clothes. I took J's car as usual. I was never to keen on the idea of having my own car and since J always let me use his and I could Uber anywhere, I never worried about it to much.

I hoped that the girls were still asleep so I could have some one on one time with her dad, and build a better relationship with him.

When I got to their house I just opened the door and walked in because her dad sent me a text before hand telling me that he was leaving the door unlocked for me.

"Hey Anthony good to see you, can you go see if Avanis awake?" He asked in a panicked voice.
"Of course I'll help you with the waffles after." I said concerned.
"You noticed my struggles." He laughed.
"Let me guess Mrs. Gregg is the one who does the cooking."
"Yeah I don't know why I decided to do this." He said clearly having technical difficulties with the waffle maker.
"I'll be back." I told him.

I went up to her room and she seemed like she was sleeping but I made sure because she had a habit of pretending to still be asleep to not get out of bed.
"Bebe are you awake." I whispered. I gave her a few kisses on her forehead thinking that would wake her up but it didn't work so I went back down to the kitchen to help her dad.

"Can you take over for a second this thing just doesn't want to work for me." He said throwing away a burnt waffle.
"Sure, should we make more batter or is this fine?" I asked since he only made one good waffle.
"I think that's fine it will last for at least three waffles for everyone." I estimated, sitting down.
"Okay. How's your week been?" I asked. We started chatting while I made the waffles.

After we talked about how our week had gone he asked if I had any plans for the current week.
"I want Avani to stay with me the whole week and we'll make plans day by day. If that's okay with you and Mrs. Gregg." I asked.
"Yeah just don't take her to Vegas or parties or anything like that." I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not so I said, "Of course, I don't really like parties that much I'm more of a home body."
"Gaming all day is more you style?"
"It's the best." I said. He laughed a little and we kept talking until the waffles were all made.

He woke up Anisha and Priya and I woke up Avani. I tried to nicely wake her up with kisses and whispering to her but that wasn't working so I decided to just lay ontop of her until she woke up. It was a win, win situation she woke up and I got to "cuddle" her. I felt her arms wrap around me and knew she was awake so I started agin with the kisses on her forehead making her wake up with a smile on her face.
"GOOD MORNING BEBE!" I said fighting back the urge to yell it in her ear.
"Good morning bebe." She said getting her eyes used to the light.
"Guess what?!" I said.
"What."
"Guess." I told her.
"Did you fart!?" She said ready to push me off of her.
"No i made waffles with your dad."
"Ohhhh." We started laughing so hard I rolled off of her onto the ground, which made us start wheezing from laughter. She held her hand out for me to get back on the bed but I brought her down with me, both of us still laughing.
"This is going to be a fun week." I said once we calmed down a little bit. She kissed my cheek and said, "Hopefully."
