LUCA'S POV

Friday Morning

I set my phone down as I continued to read some contracts. I needed to have everything in other as I had many meetings scheduled for today. Arsia should be here soon for her shift today. It has been about two weeks since she started working here, I have trained her as much as I could in the last week, but I have also been avoiding her as much as I could. 

I have been having messed-up thoughts about her, and I don't necessarily think that's right for an employee. It's just that I find her so intriguing, she makes me curious, and I like it. 

It's hard to focus when she is around, as she has certain ways she acts and carries herself that is so mesmerizing. I hope she doesn't think I am being very cold to her, I just need that boundary so that I can gain back my control and my emotions.

Just as I was about to stand up and make my way to the door, it opened. I looked up and my breathing hitched as Arsia scurried into my office with a cup of coffee in one hand, and her handbag on her shoulder in the other hand. The fact that she just barged in all rushing and a bit clumsy didn't even affect me at all. 

It's the fact that she came in wearing a dress that made her look extremely gorgeous, it made it hard not to ogle all over her, I almost choked on my spit at that moment honestly. The dress was long sleeve red and it hugged her curves in every angle. She let down her beautiful wavy hair today as it was not packed up or in a bun like usual.

" G-good morning, " She stuttered cutely.

" H-here's your coffee, Mr. Mariano. I- found a note under my desk from your last secretary on how you like your coffee," She politely smiled.

She set the coffee down on the side table and I had to look away again because she bit her lip as she made eye contact with me. This woman has no idea what she does to me with that damn lip bite and that mesmerizing little body of hers.

" Thank you, Miss Smith. As you already know that we have plenty of work to do today, correct? " I asked raising my eyebrow. She nodded her head and spoke, almost stuttering.

" Y-yes, sir."

" I need you to go pick up a few documents from Rob in finance. So why don't you go get settled and get those documents, so you can come back here, in order for us to get started."

She nodded, then turned towards the door, and walked out back to her desk. I kept my eyes trained on her till she walked out of my office before shaking my thoughts away and returning to my contracts. 

After about 7 minutes, she walked back into my office with the documents and her iPad then stood by my desk. I stood up and smirked in my head as I decided to compliment her a little bit.

" You look very beautiful today, Miss Smith, and thank you for those documents. "

" T-thank you, Mr. Mariano, " she blushed, looked down, and then looked back at me
