LUCA'S POV

Two Weeks Later. 

"Luca you have to come for the business ball! Mami and Daddy asked you and me to represent the family since Aiden is back in Florida, and no way in hell am I going alone. You know all the Clients there and can relate to them more, I am just there for support and finding new clientele for my fashion line, Please brother 'ti prego'(I am begging you)!" Ares begged as she pouted.

My mum knows that I would do anything for my sister, so she sent Ares to come get me to attend the business ball in the name of the family. And now Ares is in my penthouse at 9 in the morning not wanting to leave without an answer.

"Ares you have been here for almost an hour talking about this goddamn ball, you know how much I dislike social events," I tried to reason with her.

" Please Luca I need you there, and just think of it as a business opening and not a social gathering, " Ares said with a hopeful grin plastered on her face.

" Fine! If I decide to go will you shut up about it? " I said in defeat because I was already tired of arguing with her.

" Yes!!! Thank you, thank you, trust me you won't regret it!" She exclaimed thrilled.

" Yeah, yeah as far as it makes you and Mami happy, now please let me have breakfast in peace,"

" Jeez, you're so cranky! I'm leaving don't worry. Oh and P.S Mum said that you 'MUST' come with a date, she said that she is tired of seeing you alone in all these events, you need to keep up with appearances... so the media speculations can ease up. " She laughed.

" You know you're evil right? You didn't even tell me about the date part first. Just made the situation worse. Thank you sister what would I do without you? " I remarked sarcastically.

" As evil as they come! So look your best cause this is going to be grande, Amo tuo fratello (I love you brother)," Ares grinned.

" Ti voglio bene anche io sorella ciao -(I love you too sister bye)."

And with that, she was gone as quick as she came. I just sat there at my dining table as my thoughts consumed me. My sister was right though, I needed a date! But I honestly do not have a lot of female friends I talk to or friends in general.

The only person I can think to take is Arsia, which I am hoping she goes with me, this can also be an opportunity for her to meet new clients and businesses.

Lately, she has been the only thing on my mind, I can't seem to get her out. I look for every opportunity I get to talk to her or even see her, and that is not enough considering I only see and talk to her during work only.

Since we closed our deal two weeks ago with Matteo and her, I have been paying her lots of compliments and getting to know her more with every chance I get. We seem to have become a bit more comfortable with each other... I think.

I have been trying to read her to know how she feels towards me since I myself can't seem to get her out of my mind, Lord knows I adore this woman. I feel like a schoolboy craving for something he thinks he cannot have- or at least that is what I am telling myself.

I managed to push my thoughts away and made my way out of my kitchen, to my room for a quick shower. I needed to get ready soon, although it's Saturday I still have to to the office because I am training Arsia on how to execute a couple of things in the office and also how to review/create upcoming goals for the company.
