"Mi Amore, don't forget that we are going to that event with Aiden and Diana later today," Arsia said merrily.
"It's at 3 pm right?" I asked as I put my car in park.
"Yeah, I'm with my mum right now, I'll meet you later at the house when you get back, and then we go," she replied excitedly.
"Okay, Angel. Say hi to your parents for me, Be safe and I love you."
"Va bene, Mi Amore (okay, my love). Be safe, I love you," she said and giggled through the phone.
I smiled and ended the call, then turned off my car. The thought of her being so excited for the event later is so adorable.
She decided that we go to the Annual Charity Outdoor Fundraiser (ACOF), which Miami usually hosts for upcoming new brands and businesses with Aiden and Diana.
My family is always invited but usually, Aiden goes to represent us since he is the one closest to the location.
Which I actually think would be cool to attend for the first time with her. I love how I always want to do everything that makes her happy, even when it's things like this that's not really my style because it's informal and casual... Love is really a crazy thing.
I had just arrived in Downtown Miami because I have a meeting with the Nicolo de Fontaine. He is someone that I would classify in between acquaintance and friend.
Nicolo pretty much runs Miami now, although not exactly in the legal way. I don't do business with him but we do have an alliance between us.
We met a few years back at a private gentleman's country club. It consisted of exclusively selected rich men, both legally and illegally who come to talk about any and everything.
So pretty much a millionaire/billionaire club... futile and absurd, I know right! Matteo and I never much cared for it, we always saw it as a cult and got out with the first chance we got. It always felt very gratuitous to me.
Whereas Nicolo was very invested in it because it was one of his sources of information in order to run his business smoothly and undetected.
Which is exactly why I needed to meet with him, he is the only one that can give me enough answers on things like this and also tell me why he is not keeping his other end of our alliance.
I proceeded into the building where I was meeting Him. It was an underground private basement of his warehouse.
The moment I walked in a brunette woman approached as she recognized who I was and led me to the basement where I was meeting him.
