ARSIA'S POV
I got back home from work not long ago and had just stepped out of the shower. I was about to get dressed for dinner with Luca's family later. I can't believe he wants me to meet his parents, that honestly just made me really happy. Because I know how much family means to him, I'm glad he is letting me in.
Although I am kind of nervous to meet them, because to me they are not just regular parents, they are the parents of the most sophisticated people in New York City! But my mum always says "when in doubt, just be yourself." And that is exactly what I am going to do.
I was about to start doing my makeup when I heard my doorbell ring. I actually instantly became paranoid, I immediately put on shorts and a hoodie then went to check who was at my door. I looked through the peephole and saw that it was my apartment's mailman.
I released my breath that I didn't even know that I was holding and that instantly made me think of Luca's complaint of me not feeling safe, he was honestly right! I opened the door and the mailman handed me a box with a note attached to it. I took the box from him and thanked him, then went back into my apartment.
I walked over to my living room and dropped the box on the table, then I opened the note first.
"Hey gorgeous, I saw these and thought they would amazing on you. Hope you like it, Mi Amore. Luca"
My face instantly lit up as I read the note, it was from my man. I blushed at the fact that he thought of me when he saw whatever was in the box, it excited me even more. So I quickly opened the box and my whole face flustered in awe.
Luca is so cute I couldn't believe he got me all these, even after he had just given me a very expensive diamond necklace set, I thought to myself.
The contents of the box consisted of a pair of black Gucci heels with straps and a 24karat gold Gucci necklace. I was honestly beyond astonished by the amount of money he spends on me, and I always tell him not to.
