The Dimentions Legend: Beyond the known (Re-writing old Chapters)

Chapter Thirteen

Going back and forth surely isn't what I expected my first day here to be all about. Max kept meeting all those random people, two of which were powerholders too,; hey look at that, I learned their terms. Anyway, one of the powerholders was very nice, pretty chill, the other guy was oddly grumpy he looked like Scar from the lion king when he said he's surrounded by idiots...

We also met some king guy, Gelen I think, he's pretty chill... Oh I almost forgot to mention! all of that happened while I was floating cause I couldn't turn it off!

For some unknown they took me in some closed dark chamber, a foot away from the ground, can't really go any higher or lower at this point, and they want me to go through some sort of test, fun.

"Hey there." A girl walks in the chamber

"Hey." I waved at her, then I noticed her outfit and Oh. My. God. She looks amazing! My jaw almost dropped to the ground.

"I'm Jennifer, you can call me Jen," She said

"Hello, Jen, I'm Sky, Max's brother," I introduced myself almost too formally, unlike my goofy self.

"I'm here to explain what's about to happen in there," She said

"You'll wa- float into that chamber and pick any weapon you like that's on the mount,"

"After that you'll approach the a glory items." I think Max mentioned those...

"You'll try to touch them, one by one." She looks at the ground and then looks back up.

"However, if you touch it and one and it rejects-"
"It'll push me away." Yep Max definitely mentioned pushed... twice.

"Now that push is a little painful." Perfect, that's exactly what my floating ass needed to hear.

Bells started ringing, we could hear them, loud and clear, through the heavy wooden doors.

"You're about to go in," She says

"What happens after one if them doesn't push me away?" I ask.

"Well... you have to fight." For some reason, her face lights up
"Gelen summons creatures, born and created of magic, sometimes if you are a Knight he summons about a hundred warriors." I gasp
"If you're an assassin, he summons a giant," I raise both eyebrows
"If you're a wizard, or a mage," she pauses.
"It's his preference to be called mage, I don't really like it," she continues.

"If I'm a wizard?!" I say, filled with concern for my life.

"He summons both..." she says, and before I can drop a curse bomb I hear the doors behind me slowly seperating. Opening wide for my floating ass to hop in and become a floating dead ass.

"Come on then, go give them a good show." She winks at me before literally pushing me in.

I float inside, the sun striking my skin like I've been in a dark room for an hour... which is true.
I see a weapon stand to my right, a crowed of people outside the caged roof, my mom with... popcorn? Where did she get that from? How is she so chill about this?

Infront of me are three pedestals each has a different thing on them, and Oh. My. God. They were so shiny! I would have said they're glowing if I didn't know better.

I look back at the weapons and I see knives, blades, maces, hell even a bow and arrow.

I reach and pick the set of blades, I figured I use one, if it falls I can use the other one, right?

As soon as I touch them the crowd is cheering, mon dropped her popcorn because of how loud they were.

The sound echoed across the arena

"Silence!" I notice Gelen standing up from some high platform.

"Approach the glory items, Sky Adams." He demanded.

This is the second time I see him but I can already tell that he is SO faking the king role, he's much more "chill" in person.

I take a deep breath and that's when I fall, literally.
I'm not floating anymore...

"Sky Adams." Gelen calls out.
"Approach the glory items," this time his tone is less demanding.

I get up and approach them, I'm only three feet away from them when suddenly I'm blinded, I can't move, I can't see, I can't even hear a thing...

And that's when they started glowing like a star glowing through the clouds.

The knives float first, the helmet follows, so does the staff...

They start spinning in a wide circle, letting out miraculous sparks making my view clearer and clearer.

The circle beamed it's light in my face, and now all the items are around me, the circle is closing and with every tigher inch I feel something striking through my veins, something beatiful, something new, something... unexpected.

I close my eyes and feel that power, I open them only to see again.
I can see again. I can move again. I can hear again.

"We've found him!" Someone in the crowd says
"We've found the legend!"

What an unexpected turn of events, I totally didn't see that coming xDD
