OH MY GOD
Max thought to himself as soon as the doors closed behind him, Jumping, screaming and laughing; This was the happiest he's ever been.

"You. Were. Amazing." He found James hugging him from behind, he didn't mind, he was too happy to even think about everyone's reaction.

"I can't believe how powerful that was! The jumping and the running and oh god the punching! AHHHH!" He kept on going.
"You're officially my favourite!" He laughed.

"Wow," Max gave him a kind smile, he was truly so happy it was unbelievable.

"Do you want to go to officially meet the rest?" James asked him.

"We didn't exactly do it ourselves," Max said
"Oh," James's eyes went smaller, he gave Max a puzzled look as if he was trying to remember if they actually were 'officially introduced' or not.

"I'm James," he stretched a hand a smiled
"I'm goofy I say alot of jokes so if you are easily offended maybe avoid me," he shook Max's hand.

"Ok?" Max smiled, not understanding how James is just that honest.

"Let's go!" He started walking away as he pointed for Max to follow him, and so he did.

Max walked outside, sun hitting his face giving his eyes a slight itch. The sun was so sunny that day, apparently Max hadn't really realized it until now, but who blames him? He literally discovered he can let fire out of almost every part of his body, 'how sunny the day was' was not exactly noticeable.

"Max!" He was greeted with Sam's wide smile
"How did you even use your powers like that! I've been training for years now and I can't do that on my own!" He gave Max a surprised-Proud look.

"Honestly," Max paused,
"I don't know," he continued.
"I just went with that feeling in my gut. I let my powers do the hard work for me," he chuckled.

"This is crazy." Max heard a voice approach from behind.
"I just love the power, the energy! That battle was exceptional. Good job!" She gave Max a pat on the back.

"I'm pretty sure Gelen and Zack wanted to meet you in the castle," Sam said.

"Yeah, Gelen told me to grab you and go to him but it's not the end of the world if you hang out with me a little," he laughed, hoping he'd get to know Max a little more.

"Yeah, I don't think Zack would be as ok with that idea as Gelen would be," Jen shot a look towards James.

"Yeah, I think I'm on a good start with the king, I don't want to ruin that," Max said.

"Let's go then," Jen started walking towards the gates.
Max could see the people surrounding them, alot of people in one place just looking at them, their stares were so... new.

"I didn't expect to have such a big impact on people," Max said as he looked at Jen.
"Yeah, well," Jen paused.
"You left the arena drowning in ashes, this is the normal reaction to something that epic," she continued.

The castle and the arena weren't so far apart, there was a small lane between them with some small stores to the right and left, all of them had the same style, a wooden stand with whatever the shop keeper is selling on them, some were bigger than others, clothe shops were the biggest, the lane was filled with these small shops right and left.
Does the king shop himself in here?
Max thought to himself, thoughts started to cloud his mind about the king, how humble and amazing he was, and at the same time about Zack, why was he so... cold? Barley any emotion showed from that guy, Max though it was too weird for a human to be built that way.

"What do these writings mean," Max pointed at the castle's gates

"Those are ancient symbols each mean something we stand for," Jen said.
"They're mostly on the pillars as a metaphor," she paused.
"For example that pillar over there." she pointed at the pillar to the right of the doors
"You there is a consistent symbol on it, that symbol stands for equality,"
"And the other one," she pointed at the second pillar
"The repeated one on it stands for Justice," she said
