"Are we there?" Sky asked, surprised by his surroundings. It wasn't so different from "his world" yet again he was only in a cave so how could he tell?

"Not exactly, we're only in the cave where I found the portal," Max said.

"So where do we go to now?" Sandra asked.

"Out of the cave, it's a long walk but I think I have a way to cut it short." Max smiled at them.

"This way." He gestured for them to follow him into the tunnel leading out of the cave.

"So," Sky coughed.
"When you said 'cut it short'" Sky quoted.

"How exactly are you going to do that?"

"I've always heard that powerholders had certain powers that are extremely hard to tap into," Max explained.

"I don't know how exactly I can tap into it, but so far I've been trusting my powers and it hasn't failed me once,"

"So you're like... Sixty percent sure we'll be moving in a cool kick-ass way?" Sky said.

"Sixty percent? What's a percent?"

"Nevermind," Sky let out a sigh as they walked.

Rays of sunshine started sneaking past the cracks in rocks around them until it made itself welcome when it blinded their eyes with its glamorous light.

"My eyes," Sandra said, covering her eyes with her hand.

Max startled "I'll need you to step back." He stopped them from walking any further.

"I'll have to change into my armor, then try my best to make our journey quicker," he explained. Not a word from either Sky or Sandra.

Max walked just a little further away from them. He stood still, solid as a rock unhinged by the sun or the wind carrying the desert's dust.

I feel the fire.
I let it rage.
I let it loose.
I set it free.

Flames started growing from his fist and up and down his whole body, covering him completely, devouring every inch of his body, changing the fragile shell covering his flesh back into his armor, shining and strong as if it was never worn before.

"That's amazing," Sandra whispered.
"Amazing is too weak, I'm pretty sure the way to describe this one is using one of those really big words that are used by the annoying people who added silent letters into words," Sky mumbled.

"Are you... okay?" Sandra's astonishment was all gone by the time Sky was done

"No, who decided that the K in knee should be silent?" He ranted.

"Could you please keep it quiet?" Max interrupted.
"I'm trying to do something I've never seen anyone do before so please," he paused.
"I need focus," he continued.

"Ok," they said as they nodded.

Max was about to do what everyone thought was a fairytale of some sort; he was about to do the impossible. It was believed along time ago that the powers that lie deep within their hearts are much more than what they crack when their powers appear, in other words, the powers powerholders use at the moment are nothing to what they can reach. Max was only about to test that 'theory'

He stood strong in place, took a deep breath as he overwhelmed himself with his own strength; Max stretched his arms letting the fire take over the blood in his veins, feeling the fire growl and rumble through every inch of himself, he felt his own power become stronger and stronger than ever, but it wasn't enough... yet.
