Chapter 7: Sleep-deprived Panda?

Finally the next chapter! I've seen your comments about wanting the next chapter and I've been meaning to type up a couple of chapters over Christmas break but I was really relaxed and didn't feel like writing lol.

Plus I drew something since I got a new IPad :) more art will be coming your way along with new chapters!

Anyway, in this chapter, as you can probably tell from the title name, Zeus meets gaara! And simps

~Zeus' POV~

After packing up for my missing to the Village Hidden in the Sand, I headed out to the gates where my team still waited.

"Zeus you sure did take your time!" Naru-Chan whined and I laughed, "Unfortunately I will not be going with you guys." I looked over at Kakashi who gave me a closed eye smile, "Don't worry, the Hokage told me."

He patted my head and hummed, "Just be careful, alright?"

"I will, Kaka-sensei!" I felt someone tug on my pants and I turned and saw Sasuke.

"Sasu-chan?" He pouted and turned his head away from me, his cheeks slightly turning red, "You better come catch up with us quickly, got that? Baka..."

"Don't call him an idiot, Teme!" Sasuke immediately scowled at Naruto's voice, "Shut up!"

"Maa, maa, let's not argue now alright? Go on ahead Zeus, we'll be waiting!" I nod and run ahead, out of the village with Shin on my heels.

" I'll be back!" I wave back at them as I get farther from the gates.

"Are you excited to be on a mission on your own?" Shin turns into his human form and I hum and shrug.

"I'm a little nervous, but I think I'll be fine!" He chuckles and runs a hand through his hair, "Well I'll protect you!"

"I don't need to be protected though!" Shin pouts and gives me puppy eyes, "Don't give me those eyes! I want to be a ninja on my own!"

He smiles softly and nods, "I understand."

~Timeskip~

We finally made it to the desert, and I have to say, I absolutely HATE it here.

"It's so hot Shin!~"

"It's a desert, it's supposed to be hot." He says, unbothered.

"How are you so unbothered by the heat?! You're a wolf aren't you?!" He shrugs, "Yeah but I can regulate my own temperature! So I'm fine." I sigh and shake my head, but I immediately perk up when I see the gates of the Sand village.

"We finally made it! C'mon!" I begin to run ahead.

"O-OI! Idiot don't just run ahead!"

I laugh in response as I get closer to the gates.

"Stop! State your business."

"I am a ninja from Konoha and I was told to deliver a scroll to the Kazekage." The two ninja's at the front of the gate glowered down at me and nodded, "Fine. Come in."

I nod and walk in as Shin follows, "They definitely have better ninja's guarding the gates than ours. All they do is sleep all the time." I laugh and nod in agreement as I take a look around the village.

"It's very... beige." I shrug as few people greet me from their shops and stands.

"We're in the desert, what can you do?" He shrugs again before flinching.
