Shion is Zeus' protecter. Protector demons are partnered with the Fukushima in 2 ways: if they have evolved their Dojutsu enough where they can summon and form a pact with them, or if they are a clan heir, they're matched at birth. Unfortunately, when Zeus was sent away, Shin had not been sent with him. When Zeus was sent back the his original world, Shin was able to locate him immediately.
