"Plus... I got this beauty right here. So, unless you've got a better offer? #TeamLucifer."
The episode opens with a horrifying sacrifice in a Satanic temple. Except it's just foreplay, and Rose, the "victim", is very much turned on by it. Her boyfriend, Corazón, wants to bring the real Lucifer into it - but lest you think Lucifer himself is showing up for a sexy roleplay romp, Rose ends up sacrificed for real. In the meantime, Maze has been throwing knives at Lucifer to test his immortality, but with the exception of a demon dagger, none of them work. Maze has been sleeping with Amenadiel - a lot - but Lucifer thinks it's time for his dear brother to go. Chloe shows up before the subject goes further. She needs Lucifer for a case, and it's made clear why when it's revealed that "HAIL LUCIFER" has been carved into poor Rose's back.

Lucifer, eager to avoid mortality-by-Chloe, keeps his distance, but things only get more complicated when Corazón winds up dead, too.

Baphomet: The temple is bedecked in Baphomet sigils. Lucifer repeatedly asks what's up with the goat stuff, and at one point Amenadiel mentions associating the Devil with goats as a joke.
Beelzebub: Referred to by the Satanic Priest as one of the Four Crowned Princes of Hell. Lucifer finds it annoying since there is only one "him", implying that he does not identify "Beelzebub" as one of his names, nor is there actually an entity named "Beelzebub" anywhere.
Berserk Button: Lucifer does not like being the scapegoat for humanity's cruelty and stupidity.
Brick Joke: The goat thing comes up again. Three times.
Lucifer: I manscape.

Cain and Abel: Lucifer decides to strike back against Amenadiel, intending to use Maze to accomplish it. This leads to an all-out fight between the brothers.
Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Chloe telling Lucifer he's under arrest.
Dark Is Not Evil: Most of the Satanists are goofy at worst, but Onyx actively tries to help solve Rose's murder by cooperating with the police.
Lucifer shows himself as this again, being disgusted by the murders.
Frame-Up: Malcolm tries to frame Jacob Williams, the false preacher Lucifer scared the crap out of in an earlier episode. He also does this to Lucifer by killing Jacob later when he disapproved of Malcolm's gesture.
Gratuitous Latin: "Filii Hircus" means "Children of the Goat" in Latin. Lucifer's not amused.
Hollywood Satanism: Averted. They're really a case of Dark Is Not Evil, and more misguided at worst than anything else.
In Love with the Mark: Maze hesitates to deal the killing blow to Amenadiel.

Loony Fan: Malcolm to Lucifer, which is why he became a Serial Killer of Satanists.
Moral Guardians: A bunch of people protest the existence of the Satanist church. One of them is the guy Lucifer terrified the Hell out of.
Mythology Gag: Not only is Lucifer's Adaptation Dye-Job Lampshaded, but Corazón's real name is Mike Carey, who wrote the comics.
Never My Fault: Amenadiel still refuses to take responsibility for his actions.
Maze places sole responsibility for her actions squarely on Amenadiel and Lucifer's shoulders - never mind that she decided to help Amenadiel and offered to be Lucifer's "woman on the inside". That said, they definitely deserved the What the Hell, Hero? she handed them.
Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: The Satanists, who really just want to rebel against society and genuinely mourn Rose's death.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Lucifer gives a particularly blistering one to the Satanists for conforming and making a game out of him, as well as Rose's funeral.
Lucifer: Where's the real defiance? The free will?
Redemption Rejection: In a deleted scene, Dan tries to convince Malcolm to start over. Malcolm refuses, in keeping with his Ignored Epiphany.
Red Right Hand: In a literal exaple, Lucifer figures out Malcolm is behind the killings because of the red paint on his hand.
Sanity Slippage: Malcolm, as a direct result of going to Hell.
Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: Onyx wants out of the church. He doesn't like it any more, now that somebody's ended up dead.
Serial Killer: Malcolm decides to kill Satanists, simply for being posers.
Stood Up: Amenadiel does this to Maze while brooding over his failures.
Stop Worshipping Me: While Lucifer does like some of the principles of Satanism, he dislikes this (and other) aspects of it, given that it's his father who usually does the whole "worship me" thing.
Virgin in a White Dress: Rose wears white while playing the part of a virgin for the fake sacrifice.
What the Hell, Hero?: Maze gives Lucifer and Amenadiel one for using her.
You're Insane!: Lucifer calls Malcolm this when he confesses the murder of the satanists.
