"thank you, Mr. Henry"Elena said once she open the door. then we tried to walk in but was stopped "i'm sorry i completely forgot. Stefan, Ellie would you like to come inside my house?"Elena said "i would love to. thank you"Stefan said "well, thank you ma'am "i said and she giggles as we both walk in leaving Damon outside. "what are we, 12?"Damon said "on of us is"i said and he glares at me. "if i let you in, do you promise to obey the owner of this house?"Elena asked "no."he said "seriously, Damon. my way. you promised. i call the shots. no lies. no secret agendas. remember?"Elena asked "yes, Elena. sure"he says "then please come in"she said and me and Stefan give him smug looks and he glares at us. "shut up"he said

then Bonnie comes over with our Jackets "thanks "we both say "where are you going?"Stefan asked "to school"Elena said "yeah, you know that thing where you learn thing"i sass and Bonnie laughs "huh?"Stefan said "no,no, no. we didn't create a safe house for you to leave it"Damon said "yeah, guys Klaus is out there. we know that"Stefan said "right. but where? no one knows. look i really appreciate what you guys are doing. and i'll be able to sleep at night knowing i'll be safe here, but i'm not going to be a prisoner. "Elena said "your way Elena"Damon said

"don't worry, i'm ready. if he shows he's face, i can take him. i know how."Bonnie said "plus i have become a bad ass vampire lately so we'll be fine"i said. "the way i see it, nest to Bonnie and Ellie is the safest place i can be"Elena said and we start walking out but i stop "am i going to get a kiss before i go"i asked and Damon didn't say anything "fine, i'll just get a kiss from Stefan."i said and Stefan chuckles and he kisses me on the cheek "oh the way you make me blush Mr. Salvatore"i smile and Stefan shakes his head and i leave out. "never do that again"i hear Damon say and i smile in victory "wait i'm coming"Stefan says

i sat down in class and Elena shows me and Bonnie the flyer of the 60s dance and me and Bonnie nod as a hell yes we are going. "i don't care how mad Damon is, he is so coming with me"i said to Bonnie and she chuckles "hello class"Alaric said walking in and i look down and start to draw on my book, not really paying attention. "what are we learning today?"he says "with the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week." Dana said "the sixties. the uh, the sixties..i wish there was something good i could say about the sixties but..actually they kind of sucked. except for the beatles or course.

"Alaric said and i chuckle a little "Ellie"i look up at ric and his eyes widen and i smile "sorry"i said and he shakes his head and clears his throat "uh, what else were there? the Cuban missile thing, the--we walked on the moon. there was watergate."he said

"Watergate was in the seventies, ric. i-i mean Mr. Saltzman. "my sister said and i hold back a laugh and Bonnie nudges me which makes me laugh and Ric looks at me again but this time with a smile. "right. it all kind of mushes together up here, the sixties, the seventies. thank you Elena.

"hey Jer, how you doing?"i asked as me and Elena walk up. i ruffle up his hair before sitting down. "are you okay in the house alone with John"Elena asked "it's not ideal"he says "you haven't heard from Jenna , have you?"Elena asked "it looks like she's staying at campus. i'm late for class"Jer said and walks away. "what did you do to my brother?"i asked pointing my fork at her "nothing. i told him he had to dress up tonight and he got all uptight "Bonnie said and we laugh. "hey, Elena, Ellie there you are. ok. this is going to sound freaky but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you two if you're going to the dance tonight. "Dana said and "tell him they have a boyfriend"Bonnie said"but if my boyfriend doesn't stop being petty i might take him on the offer"i joked and Elena laughs and hit my arms

"you could at least meet him. he'll be at the dance tonight. look for him. he's name is Klaus"she said and all our smiles dropped "i'm sorry what did you just say?"Elena asked "he's name is Klaus. i know the names stupid , but i swear he's hot."she said "where is he? is he here?"i asked "i don't know"she said "she's been compelled"Bonnie said "but he wants to know if Ellie will save him the last dance. how cute is that?

"so we go to the dance and find him."Damon said "really? how are we going to do that? we don't even know what he looks like."Stefan asked "something tells me he's not going to be 16 and pimply "Damon said " he could be anywhere at any time. he compelled somebody at school. i guess it's not as safe as you thought, huh?"Stefan said and the bell rang "there you are. "Damon said and i turn around and see Alaric. "sorry i'm late"he said and looks at me. he's been doing that a lot lately.

"hey i need you to put me down as a chaperon at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move."Damon said "ok, so we find him and then what? what's our plan of attack ?"Elena asked "me. i'm the plan. he has no idea how much power i can channel. if you can find him, i can kill him"Bonnie said "that's not gonna be that easy. i mean he is the biggest , baddest vampire around. "Ric said "Alaric has a point i mean what if he--"Damon ran at her and she threw him across the room. i laughed and clapped "again. do it again"i said and Stefan chuckles at me. "well i was impressed"Stefan said

"it doesn't matter if he's an original . i can take down anyone who comes at me. i can kill him , Elena. i know i can.

i was doing my hair when Damon walks in. "why did he ask for you? Klaus i mean."Damon said "i don't know Damon. Maybe he knows i'm Elena's sister and wanted to mess with me"i shrugged "well, if it's more then that i want you to know that i won't let anything happen to you"he said and kissed my forehead before he left the room

Damon and i walk in hand and hand, everyone was out slow dancing. "thanks for being here everybody. "Dana said and the crowd cheers. "we have a special shout out tonight. this is for Ellie and Elena. from Klaus "Dana said and i stop in my tracks while everyone cheered "why is he trying to get my attention, i get Elena but why me"i asked kind of freaking out. Elena grabs my hand "i don't know but we'll figure it out"she says and i sighed and nod "that was a lame cheap shot. he's just trying to bate us."Damon said "i know everyone here"Elena said "maybe he's not here. he just wants us to believe that he is. "Stefan said "it's a party, people blend. let him come to us."Damon said " good idea"Bonnie said and pulls Jeremy away against his will.

"there's Ric. i'll be back"Damon said and walks away

i was dancing with Tyler and he spins me and i end up in Damon arms "how you doing?"he asked "uh, fine. i'm totally fine"i said and he gives me a look "okay, i'm freaking out a bit. you?"i asked "cool as a cucumber "Damon said and does this little dance "your an idiot "i smile "if it gets you to smile it's worth it"he said and he spins me around and pulls me to his chest "you're good at this."i said "i've got moves you've never seen "he said and spins me around and pulls me back again and i giggle.
