After finally getting the guys out of my room, I collapse onto my bed and tears fill my eyes. I thought I got rid of him! I thought I escaped! Tears spill down my face and I hug my pillow tight as pain fills my heart. There is a knock at my door and I quickly wipe away my tears before Maxine comes running into the room, I take one look at her and burst into tears.

‘Oh sweetie’ she sighs and pulls me into a hug

‘I don’t know what to do anymore!’ I sob and she rubs my back and holds me close

‘Want to tell me what happened?’ She asks softly, so I do.

I tell her everything, all about being a white wolf, how Daniel is trying to get back into my life and finally about the text. By the end of it I have gone through half a tissue box and Maxine has gone through the other half. When I asked her why she was crying she said it was because she loved me like a sister and wished none of this happened to me, except for the wolf part.

‘Annabelle, I just came to-’ Damon cuts off and stares at Maxine in shock, she looks at him with the same expression, what is going on?

‘Mate’ my brother whispers and I stare in shock.

Maxine smiles and her eyes soften and so do Damon’s, as he pulls her into his arms and kisses the top of her head. I sit there with a slight smile on my face and tears in my eyes; they will be good for each other. I slowly get up and head out of my room, but neither of them notices as they sit down on my bed and start talking. I head downstairs and into the kitchen where Jay is sitting and eating, he has bags under his eyes and looks exhausted

 ‘Hey’ I say awkwardly and he looks up in shock then smiles

‘Hey, why are you down here? I sent Damon up to see if you were hungry, are you OK?’ he asks

‘I’m fine and yeah Damon came up, he also found his mate’ I smirk and Jay looks shocked then chuckles softly

‘They will be quiet the couple’ he snickers and I laugh softly then I stop.

I can’t stay here, I have to leave. If he knows I am here, he will hurt my friends and family and I can’t have that, I have to leave. A plan forms in my head as Jay and I make something to eat, I just hope I can leave without anyone noticing.

DANIEL’S POV:

It’s ten at night and I have tried to keep my mind off Annabelle but I just can’t. I groan and pulling on a shirt and shoes I head out the front door, not brothering to say where I am going. I run and shift and head to her house, when I get there I quickly shift back and go to knock on her door then decide against it.

I head around to her window and climb up and knock on it, but there is no reply so I knock again.

‘Annabelle? It’s me Daniel… I understand if you don’t want to talk to me but please, at least let me see you’ I say, but there is still no reply and I start to get angry.
