Chapter 42

We're already in our third year of college and I must say, everything went by so quickly. Really really quickly. I was still working under Mr. Yoon and I got better at taking pictures. 

By this time, I found what I wanted to do. I wanted to be a psychiatrist. 

The family and Jin fully supports my decision. After I graduate college, I have to attend med school so...It's just gonna be years of studying. But it's alright, Jin's with me. He can give me tips and can help me study with anything. 

"Yah, you look so...uh upset" Taehyung said as we were off to the locker rooms to change for our Physical Education period "You good?" 

I blinked and gave him a small smile. Actually Jin and I had a fight last night and I'm still upset about it. What's it about, you ask? I asked him to wash the dishes since I was still busy with our four page essay due today and a presentation too but instead of saying "I'll do it later" or "Sorry, I can't do it right now", he snapped at me. 

I guess we're both stressed about something but it still upsets me. He can just tell me he couldn't do it, no need to be so angry. It was awkward eating breakfast too, so I decided to leave early so I can finish my presentation at school. 

"I'm fine, I just lack sleep. That's all" I replied before I went inside the locker room feeling a bit dizzy as I took my shirt off. 

"Hey" I jumped as I heard Amy's voice. "Oh sorry, did I scare you?" She chuckled 

"Oh no...I was just lost in my thoughts" I chuckled back 

"Nice bra though" She smiled as she pulled on the strap, making it slap against my skin. 

"That hurts!" I said as I slapped her shoulder playfully. "C'mon"

As we reached the gym, everyone was playing their own sports while the others were just hanging around. Amy grabbed a volleyball and threw it at me. 

"Toss" She said before I tossed the ball towards her.

"We played this before, remember?" Amy said as she tossed it back to me before I hit it. 

"Yeah, we lost" I laughed "That sucked. We weren't ready at that time! Our teacher dragged us over to the court without telling us"

After minutes of tossing and hitting, I started to get tired and dizzy from all that work out. 

"Are you sure you're okay?" Amy asked as she handed me a water bottle. 

"Yeah, I think I am...Just a bit light headed from moving too much" I replied with a chuckle.

"You look really pale right now...I don't think you're okay" She said as she handed me a small chocolate bar. "You have anemia, don't you?" 

Oh right...I forgot about that. 

"Don't tell me you forgot?" She asked "Have you been taking your iron pills?"

Pills? "I forgot about them too" I mumbled.

"Seriously Junghee, you need to take those" She said, finishing half of her water. "I can't let you pass out again" 

"Don't worry, I won't" I replied "Thanks for the chocolate"

I was finally done with my presentation which my professor appreciated. I got praises from him and I felt really relieved. Staying up all night just to finish this was worth it after all.

"it's very descriptive and well explained. Well done, Ms. Kim" 

I bowed before walking back to my seat as the next presenter was called. But I suddenly held on to one of the desks as my vision became blurry and I felt myself getting lightheaded.  

 "Yah...You okay?" I heard someone ask. 

"I-I'm fine..." I replied before forcing my self to walk back to my seat, but failed as my knees weakened. 

"Junghee!" I hear Chanwook's voice before everything went black. 

I woke up, looking at the familiar white walls. I'm at the clinic again, aren't I?

I sighed and shut my eyes again. 

"How are you feeling?" I opened my eyes again and saw the school nurse. "It seems like you have a fever. Do you have any illnesses?" 

"Y-yeah...I'm anemic...Actually" I replied 

"And Ms. Kim, do you faint often?" She asked "If you're always fainting, I suggest you go to a doctor and get your blood tested again..." 

I nodded. Jeez, just a night without sleep and this is what happens? It feels like I'm too weak. 

"You can go home for now, and please see a doctor. Okay?" She smiled before I sat up and proceeded to walk out of the building. I texted my friends, who might be really worried right now and told them I'll just rest for awhile, to send me notes and update me about the assignments. 

When I reached home, Kirby greeted me but I couldn't even look down or reach her since my head was throbbing, I just wanted to lay down. I took my shoes off and threw my bag on the couch before walking towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water. 

As I was walking, I suddenly bumped into someone and realized it was Jin. 

"You're home early? Are you okay??" He asked as he held my arms. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Y-yeah...I just fainted at school...My head hurts..." I mumbled "Water...Seokjin-ah" I wanted to ask him why he was home but I couldn't find the energy to talk right now. I could only spit out a couple of words. 

"Woah there..."Jin said as my knees started to go weak again. I grabbed onto him and buried my face on his chest. "Junghee...You're burning up" 

"Have you been taking your iron pills lately??" He asked as he took his phone to call someone. 

"no" I whispered before blacking out again.
