Ten

The all valley tournament was today. I was so excited since my belt ranking was now up to brown. And hawk and Miguel had even Gotten their black belts. I stood in my livingroom practicing different kicks and punches. Amped up for the today. I decided it was shit punching nothing and I couldn't do anymore on the wall. I decided to just go to the dojo to see if johnny was there. I wanted to train but also tell him about my eviction.

I walk to the dojo my gi pants already on and I just had a tshirt on top until I got to the dojo.

"What's up mrs easton" johnny asks me

"I just wanted to get extra training in today if that's okay" i tell him and he nods

"I'll be in my office if you need anything" he says while heading into the office.

I take off the t shirt I was wearing and threw on my gi and belt. I dragged a dummy onto the mat and began.

It honestly felt great getting some anger out. I always turned any emotion I felt into anger which helped me a lot in karate. It also helped me to stay calm in any other situation and not let people see my emotional side very easy.

"Everything alright quinn?" Johnny asks coming out of his office looking at the dummy I had knocked to the ground

"Yeah, I'm just good" I say which makes him laugh as I pick up the dummy

"Sounds like something I would say" he laughs

"So you ganna tell me about the eviction notice on your door" he asks me sitting on a stacked up group of mats

"Shit I didn't think you saw that" I tell him

"Quinn I saw it before you even got out of the car. I know an eviction notice when I see one And I have seen a lot" he says

After beating up the dummy I take a seat on the mat my legs up as I rest my arms on my knee's

"I don't know... miguel and hawk have both offered for me to stay with them but hawk I don't feel like staying with hawk so maybe I'll just switch between miguels house and like the park" I shrug

"What's wrong with you and hawk?" he asks me

"Nothing we just had like a thing or something but it's over so it's just uncomfortable around him a little." I tell him trying to be vague as possible

"Ah okay well. You could always stay at my place some nights. If you do stay at miguels it would be easy since I'm in the same complex" he says

"Really?" I ask him surprised he offered.

"Yeah i have a spare bedroom and stuff so it's always open to you" he tells me before getting up again to head to his office

"Hey I think I'll do that... thank you" I tell him and he smiles. I think he was glad I took his offer cause it really showed I forgave him.

"Okay we should get to the tourny need a ride?" He asks and I nod as we head to his car.

"Do what alone?" Johnny asks as we walk up to the group.

"Oh we thought you werent gonna show" hawk says

"Quinn your here!" Miguel says

"Of course wouldn't miss any of this" I say smiling at him and i even smiled at hawk. I wasnt mad at him anymore. I definitely wasnt ready to open up to him but I wasnt mad.

Johnny gave us a quick pep talk and we all headed in. We ran in doing our usual chant.
