Twenty-eight

The next couple of days were pretty simple. We just went to the dojo and school and then repeated the next day. Johnny and Daniel were finally getting along. I don't know what they did but it worked.

"Hey i was thinking we could have Chinese for dinner, that place we love isn't being shut down until tomorrow" i say to johnny On the car ride home from karate

"Oh uh sorry kid I forgot to tell you but the larussos invited me and Miguel's family over for dinner tonight" my dad says

"Oh... uh why?" I say confused

"Well miguel and sam are dating and Daniel and i are kinda friends now and I'm sams sensei now" johnny says shrugging

"Well why didn't they invite me?" I say

"I don't know, don't worry kid I'll leave ya some cash and you can get Chinese for yourself tonight and i uh- I'll just eat your left overs tomorrow" johnny says trying to make me feel better but it didn't. I just smiled and nodded pretended not to be bothered.

Why would they invite my dad over with Miguel's family? It's like they think he's Miguel's dad and not mine.

"Alright quinn im leavin, cash is on the counter" johnny yells

"Alright thanks!" I yell back and soon hear the front door open and close

I quickly get out my phone and text eli

Texts:

Quinn: hey my dads out for the night and left me money for food. You wanna join?
Eli: sure, be over in 15?
Quinn: sounds good:)

I quickly got dressed in some yoga pants, a tank top, and a jacket and waited for eli to get here.

Soon enough there was a knock on my door

"Hey" he says smiling

"Hey! So my favorite Chinese place is closing after tonight is it ok if we get that?" I ask

"Yeah" he says

"Alright let me just get the money and we can go" i say

We start making our way to the Chinese place that unfortunately was in the same strip mall as cobra Kai's dojo was

We Make it into the restaurant without any altercations with a cobra. We quickly give them our order and hope we're out of there soon

"Do you think they're training?" I ask

"I mean... I'm sure someone probably is" he replies

"Number 48" the man calls out and eli goes to grab our bag

We walk out and with just our luck it's when cobra Kai's we're walking out of their dojo

"Great" i mumble

"Look who it is" tory says walking towards us

"A traitor" she continues

"Two actually" she says now looking at me

"Tory we don't want any trouble" eli says

"What's going-" i hear a familiar voice say

"Quinn?" Robby says looking at me

"Tell your goons go back off" i say

"Your on cobra territory" kyler says

"Look man we were just trying to get some food and go, now do you mind?" Eli saws shoving them out of the way making a gap to get past them. He puts his arm out allowing me to walk through first and him soon after
