We just hungout in my room. Sitting on my bed talked for a while and eventually we had to head to karate. I was a little disappointed cause I was enjoying myself with hawk. I think we both let our guards down for each other and it made me instantly feel closer to him.

When we finally got to the dojo I could tell johnny was happy I was there. Only me, aisha, miguel, and hawk knew he was my dad. Which I was sort of glad so he had to act hard on me just like the others.

I had to admit I felt like I was getting a lot better. I think johnny thought so too he looked very pleased with me during class. It was only my third class if you count the first time I came. But it all felt so natural. Like he would show me a move or hawk or miguel would and I would try at most three times and have it down pat. I could definitely feel my inner johnny come out. His amazing genes for karate were also mine and It showed.

"ALRIGHT CLASS before you go I have something for you all" He says before pulling out a bag dropping it to the floor.

"Come get your gi's You all earned them and I am sure we will do very well when the tournament comes" he says.

I went and looked for the bag with my name which I couldn't find which made me frown

"Hey what's wrong hawk asks coming up to me wrapping his arm around me" Aisha and miguel following. I could see their eyes wanting answers to what this was but honestly I didn't know either.

"Miss easton since you were kind of knew I had no clue what size to get you. I just got you small so let me know if they work" he says handing me the white gi and walking back into his office

"Oh well I thought he didn't get me one but here it is" I say smiling

"Well try it on" hawk says and they all agree

"Okay" I say enthusiastically as I slip on the white pants over my shorts

I quickly took off the cropped sleeveless t-shirt I was wearing, which I cut myself lol.

Leaving me in my sports bra and the pants. I quickly put it on so I wanst just standing there in my bra and it fit perfectly.

"You look good" hawk smirks at the fact the gi wouldn't stay closed since I didn't have my belt.

"well it fits" miguel says smiling and aisha nods

"Oh and heres your belt" he says handing me a green belt. Everyone was happy for me but to be honest I had no clue the order of ranking for the colors. I was just glad it wasnt yellow.

"Umm so is this like the next step up from yellow" I asked embarrassed. And he just laughs

"Actually it's three steps up from yellow" he says. "You earned it and I am very impressed miss easton"he says and we both bow. Again causing my gi to fall open making my face turn red like a hot tomato.

"And that's why I gave you the belt" he says before going back to his office

"Oh my god he just saw me in my bra" I say embarrassed

"Yeah well good thing it's a sports bra" aisha says laughing and I laugh with her cause honestly yeah thank god.

I put the belt on and we all get together and take a selfie. Aisha had a blue belt and hawk and miguel both had brown.

"Hey should we go get milk shakes" I ask everyone and they looked very suprised.

"Look I know our first impressions werent... the greatest. And I just wanna say I'm sorry. and miguel, I have honestly appreciated you from day one. You never left my side even when I really wanted you to" I say causing all of them to laugh

"No problem quinn it's what friends do" he says and I was so happy he forgave me.

I look at aisha hopefully and she just smiles

"No worries quinn I know we all got some sort of walls up. Yours were just a little higher but I'm glad we lowered them a little" she says and everyone nods in agreement

"So milkshakes?" I ask and everyone just laughs and nods but start laughing harder once I begin to leave

"Uhh Quinn" hawk says and I look back at them

"What?" I ask confused

"Your gi" he says laughing a bit

"Oh shit oops" I say getting a little embarrassed

I go to where my shirt layed on top of some stacked up mats and change into it

"Wait should I leave this here" I ask not wanting to just walk around holding it

"Oh wait here" hawk says as he opens his bag up and I just smile

"Thanks" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek which I knew surprised him and everyone else

We all got into hawks car and headed to the 80's diner

"Hi can I get a chocolate milk shake?" Aisha says and hawk just asks for the same thing

"And can I get vanilla" miguel says

"I'll have strawberry" I say

"oh and can we get a plate of fries" I ask and the waiter nods taking our menus

I noticed miguel giving me a weird look

"What?" I ask confused

"Nothing nothing it's just... that's sensei's exact order" he says

"Oh" I say laughing a little about how I had that in common with him

We all carried on the night talking and what not and it was actually pretty fun. Aisha got picked up by her dad and that left the three of us

"You dorks need a ride home?" Hawk asks causing miguel and I to look at each other and laugh

"What?" He says a little embarrassed

"I think you're forgetting who once was the biggest dork of us all" I say slapping his cheek lightly and I could tell he didn't really like it

"No thanks man my mom is on her way *honk honk* oh that's her" miguel says getting up leaving money for his food.

"Okay I should go too" I say but he quickly grabs me.

"You know im not a dork anymore right" he asks as I'm half standing in the booth with my wrist in his hand

"I know but I thought your eli side was pretty cute too" I say to him

"Just... don't change too much for me okay?" I ask him and he nods

"Come on easton I'll take ya home" he says leaving behind enough money for both of us as he readjusts his hand from my wrist and intertwined our fingers before leaving the diner.
