One year later...
Millie's Pov
Hi welcome! Let me fill you in on our summer! The whole group went on a trip all across Europe, our parents came along and we stayed in Florence Italy for most of the time! It was wonderful, and of course, it was fun. Now some of us are juniors and some of us are seniors, by the way, we only have to more weeks. 2 more weeks . . . that's how much time I have until Finn goes off to NYCC (New York City College), I have that much time left to spend every waking moment with him and figure out what our future holds.
I walked into my Econ class and sat next to Sadie and Maddie.
"Hey, girl! Are you ready for the test?" Maddie says, fuck I forgot. Shit
"Omg the test! I completely forgot!" I facepalmed at this point.
"Mills you always forget. I hope you do well." Sadie says as she pats me on the back.
"Millie, this could be a great learning thing but I pray you to do well," Maddie says while hugging me, I almost start crying. Econ is my most important class, it's my only honors class and I have to pass to be able to apply to the colleges I want to go to.
"Ok students, take out a pencil and put all other distractions away!" Mr. Partridge says. Wish me luck :)
Finn's Pov
Hi, welcome. I'm sure lovely Mills has already informed you of what went down this past summer. But here's the thing, two more weeks until I have to go ofc I college and start my life, and of course wait until I can spend the rest of my life with Millie.
I walked into AP Calc, I had my last exam today. I was not nervous at all, I had all the confidence since I had studied the night before.
"Alright class, take out your pencils and everything on your desk. You can start once you receive a test, good luck." Oh gosh, I hope I do well.
Maddie's Pov
In Econ after the test
I was in Econ with Sadie and Millie, but something was just off with Millie.
"Hey Mills, how are you?" I ask, Sadie and I interrogate her.
"I'm ok, just nervous about next year." She says that lie isn't half bad.
"Are you sure? Made and I have noticed your behavior has changed," Sadie says, Millie looks at the both of us as we nod.
"I'm worried that Finn and I won't make it when he leaves for college. I know we could de long-distance but you guys know how I feel about that." Millie says looking at her work and then up to us.
"Oh, Millie. I don't think you should worry about that." Sadie says running Millie's back.
"Why shouldn't I worry? I'm always skeptical about these types of things." She asks.
"I think you should go on with long-distance, is it Finn you're worried about or you?" I ask.
"I'm worried about us. What if there is someone out there who is prettier than me?" Millie explains.
"Millie, Finn is one of the most loyal people we've ever known. Heck, he even went into your room through your window at 3:00 am just to apologize for not listening to you. I don't think most people are like that." Sadie says.
