✰Last Day✰

Millie's Pov
Finally, today was the last day of school, and I was very excited to end the year. I liked sophomore year but I'm just waiting for my life to begin, I don't hate what I have right now but in the back of my mind I feel like something will ruin my happiness.

I walked into math, my third class, and sat down in my seat next to Maddie.

"Hey girl, how are you feeling on this last day of school?" She asks 

"I'm excited about this summer to come," I say smiling.

"Same." She says and then class started ugh.

8th Period
I'm in my last class which is gym and all we do is walk around the track, it's so peaceful.

I started walking to the track and I see a familiar face appear in from of me while I finished checking my phone.

"Hey Mills." It's Finn :)

"Hi Finnie, where are the others?" We hugged.

I don't know, I think Sadie chose to have a study hall and the others might be trying to retake tests." He says with an unsure look.

"So Millie."

"Yes Finn?"

"Are you excited for your junior year?" Wow he pulled out that one, I have some uncertaint feeling about that but I'll tell you later.

"I'm excited but nervous, you know? It's kinda a big step in my life." I say not saying how I really feel about it

"No I get that. I'm nervous for next year too, I don't know what filled hold for me but you know it's something to think about." He said.

I'll explain why I hbd doubts about next year. It's simple, Finn will be z senior and I will be a junior, I think you can see where this is going. So we will be in those grades having fun but towards the end I will start to feel sad and get worried. I'm worried by then we will break up. It's not that I think we live each other anymore, I'm just not sure what will happen with us. I'm also not confident about long distance, anyway back to the story.

Soon the period ended and we headed to Gaten's car, he was driving us home. We all got in the car and talked about how our days went.

"Ok, so how was everyone's day been? Caleb asked.

"It was great! Except I had to retake a test for French class." Sadie said.

"I had to go to chem and complete a test for Miss V. I hope it brought my ending grade up." Noah said,

"I actually had no tests to do today, I just went for a study hall and it was chill." Caleb told us.

"Well, I just watched a movie in class it was nice." Gaten said.

"My day was just full of waiting for summer and nervousness until I saw Millie during gym," Finn said as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I had the best day, but I was thinking about next year and I got nervous," I say to the group.

"I'm glad you guys didn't have to retake a Spanish test. God, that wax horrible, but I'm glad it's all over for now," Maddie said. Gaten dropped us off one by one and Finn was before me. "See you soon Wolfhard." Gaten says as he unlocked the doors.

"Love, would you like to come over?" Finn asked as he kissed my cheek and left the vehicle. I would love to go, but I need to think about my life and where it's headed.

"No thanks, we can talk later," I say. I can tell he is a little sad by me response but I know he will get over it.

"Ok, enjoy your day. Bye Gaten thanks for the right." And with that Finn left for his house and I am soon dropped off by Gaten.

In my room
I walked into my room and just plopped on my bed, I was so tired. But instead of napping in dirty clothes, I had to shower so that's what I did.

I was thinking about how my life was going and I washed my hair and my body, soon I was out and wrapped up in a towel. I went back into my room and put on some sweats and a sweatshirt from Finn. I put on my fan and a white noise sound and fell alseep.

Soon my sleep was interrupted by my mum.

"Millie, time to eat dinner hon. Wake up please." She said as she shakes me ever so slightly. I rubbed my eyes and followed her downstairs.

"What's for dinner?" I asked.

"Well, I decided tonight should be a salad night! I got your favorite Caesar corn salad bowl and my favorite bowl. I hope that's ok." I nodded my head, I was so excited, corn Caesar salad was my favorite.

"So Millie, how wax your last day of school?" Mum asked as I was about to take a bite of my salad.

"It was good, I'm glad I could nap. I really needed it." I said

"I'm glad, are you excited for the summer?"

"Yea, I think it will be fun."
