A/N: Hey guys! So if you want to listen to the song it's called Afraid, by The Neighborhood and just know that I didn't write this song at all but I thought it was a good song for Finn to sing I guess idk, anyways enjoy!
Finn's Pov
I was in my basement trying to finish my song about how I feel about Millie. I didn't know the last part of the song so I decided to finish with repeating the chorus. "When I wake up I'm afraid, somebody else might take my placeWhen I wake up I'm afra.." I was cut off when I felt I was being watched. I look up at the stairs and realize Millie is there looking at me as if she was listening the whole time.
"Hi, did you hear everything?" I asked blushing a lil.
"Only some...what's the song about? Are you afraid of something?" She asks
"Well, it's about a certain thing that I'm afraid to do." I explain
"Like what? You know you can tell me anything Finn." She smiles, and my head thinks well I can't say I like you though, because you don't feel the same.
"It's..about a girl I like, it's stupid I know."
"That's not stupid, are you afriad to share your feelings with her?" She asks, I just nod because I don't want to reveal more than I should.
"Well, I understand what you're going through. I really like this guy, but I'm afraid to tell him because of rejection." She says
"So you're also afraid of rejection?" I ask
"Yes, exactly. I can't get over the feelings that I have when I'm around him."
"Same here, if you ever want advice you can ask me."
"Thanks Finn, you can always ask me too. Do you remember why I'm here?" She says
"Omg, I'm so sorry. I got caught up in songwriting and let time get away. So what were we supposed to do?" I say
"Watch movies all day." I nod and we headed up to my room. After looking for what felt like an hour we couldn't find a good movie, so we just talked.
"So what's this girl like?" Millie asks
"She has the prettiest eyes, her laugh is just amazing, I love how comfortable I am around her, she always makes me happy and she has the best personality." I say
"Nice, what's her name?" I look down and scratch the back of my neck.
"I would like to keep her unnamed if that's alright." I say she nods and then she goes on about this boy, if only it were me.
"He has such amazing hair, I just love his whole face and the personality I think is similar to mine. I love when he is always there for me and I love his smile." She says blushing.
"What's his name?" I say she then tells me that this boy will be unnamed. We just talked and talked for the whole day and then we went to go get playabowls.
In the store...
Millie's Pov
We had gotten our orders and I tried to pay but Finn insisted on paying.
"No, I'm going to pay." He says
"Finn, it's fine I'll pay." The girl was confused.
"Ok, so who is paying?" She asks. Before I could say me Finn just gives her his card.
"Thank you for coming, have a good day!"
"Thank you, you too!" We left and headed to Finn's house.
