Chapter 21 - Closure

HYEBIN's P.O.V

*flashback

"I didn't order anything."

Everytime I hang around this cafe, I always receive a drink even though I haven't ordered anything. It was pretty fine at first but it was getting annoying.

"I'm sorry ma'am but this young man insisted I give this to you."

The waitress pointed at her fellow employee by the counters. When I looked at who it was, an exasperated sigh escaped my lips. I didn't know he was a part-time worker here. I picked up the drink then marched towards him.

"Take this back."

"Don't you want it? It's free." He said.

"No, I don't. I don't even like coffee."

I replied coldly and placed the iced coffee on the counter before I headed towards the exit.

"Hyebin, wait!"

When I went outside, he followed me after me then stood infront of me, blocking my way. This guy was getting on my nerves. He's been bugging me for the past few days.

"Can't you just fucking leave me alone?"

"Seems like I can't. Care to force me?"

His smirk irritated me even more that I scoffed at him.

"Do you want me to pay you for kissing you?"

I hastily slipped my hands into my pockets and retrieved my wallet. Geez, every single guy that I kissed wants to get paid. It's not like I fucked with them.You want money? Fine.

"I don't need your money, Hyebin."

"Then what do you want Moonbin?!"

I dishevelled my hair as I raised my voice at him. He continued to stare at me but he wasn't bothered by my rude actions.

"You.I want you..."

Flustered, I couldn't form any words to say anything. He said with utmost sincerity in his voice which I was not used to. This guy is clearly out of his mind.

"Sorry, but I don't give myself to just anyone." I said, crossing my arms.

"Then why'd you kiss me?"

"I was bored."

I bluntly replied and stared at him coldly. My response somehow hurt him but I didn't care at all.

"Besides, you're not the only guy I kissed."

I rolled my eyes at him and turned around to leave when he grabbed my wrist. This time he stared straight into my eyes.

"Then...can I be that only guy?"

After the conversation on my phone, I immediately ran to the hospital where Moonbin was admitted, dragging Soonyoung along with me. It's been months since I last saw Moonbin.

*ding*

When the elevator doors opened, I rushed out and headed towards Moonbin's room.

"Hyebin, slow down." Soonyoung huffed as he followed behind me.

I stopped in my tracks when I was infront of his room's door. Nervous, I bit my lip and fiddled with my fingers. I was too ashamed to show myself to him. But I just wanted to make sure he was fine.
