Will woke up on his bed with the feeling of Godly hands soothing his muscles. He blinked through his eyes and saw it was Ella. He felt so sleepy as if he had not slept in days. He pondered on the fact that it was not Ella who had given into his charming behaviour but he who had been wooed by her instead. She was right. She had succeeded in making him fall for her.
It was in the middle of the night when Will woke up from his slumber. A head filled with wavy hair rested on his left arm. He wondered if Ella had carried him to bed herself. Maybe she had asked the neighbors to help. Well whatever. It was all good till she was by his side.
Ella was sleeping peacefully whilst kneeling on the floor beside his bed. And he knew at that instant. It was love. In fact it was love at first sight. She looked beautiful. She was the most genuine person he had ever met. He had been lucky to have two loves at first sight. One was Lola and now another, Ella.
He touched her hair a bit and they were just as unruly as her. He needed to make her comfortable. He woke up cautiously, picked her up and laid her on the bed.
She stirred a bit, but was too sleepy to complaint. He would have slept on the couch in the hall if his legs weren't this bad. He had to explain everything to her in the morning. Just then Lola jumped on the bed making a barrier between him and Ella putting him at the ease of mind. He wished for this moment to last forever!
Ella woke up in the morning with something around her waist and it was not her dog's tail. It was a hand. She was on Will's bed with Will hugging her and Lola curled about their feet.
It was just like the numerous situations she had read in the romance novels. She could have easily drifted off to sleep in the arms of the man she loved. Wait did she say ...love?
Yeah; she was already head over heels for him. She was here to make him pay for his actions and instead she was floating on the clouds made of hearts. Her heart was thumping in her chest and sleep didn't blur her brain anymore. But she wouldn't confess her love till he told her the reason behind his uncouth behaviour. It was unacceptable for her. But love could be the greatest joy or pain. God knew which one was in store for her.
Just then she remembered the mark on his neck. Will definitely didn't love her. Maybe he was drawing her portrait for practice but it was definitely not her who dwelt in his heart. It was impossible. She had to brace her heart from falling any harder.
