It was around 7:30 p.m. when Ella and her dogs had finished their dinner and were going to freshen up for the night.
Ella had just brushed her teeth, had taken a hot-water bath and had changed into her comfy oversized pyjamas and t-shirt with her black thick hair twisted at the top of her head. Her purplish broad cat eye specs where hanging a bit low on her nose bridge than preferable.
The canines were sitting peacefully with their head held high on their front legs for Ella to come and wash their faces. Ella was glad that her dogs were so well behaved and had already cleaned their mouth and teeth so well after eating that not much work was left for Ella to do.
After all they had someone to love them unconditionally like her. She was glad she could provide them with that. They had been very fragile and little, love-deprived and neglected when Ella had brought them in. She had found it hard to believe that those fragile bundles of fur had today grown up into the humongous beautiful creatures that they were. They were more than what Ella had expected. Looking at them her chest tightened with a feeling of pride that they were her's only her's to have.
"They are mine....... forever", thought Ella as she dosed off to sleep at 11 p.m. after a long evening with her dogs. They were all curled around her in big balls of fur. Wherever she touched she could feel breathing and warm love and fur.
With at least one of her limbs touching each dog, she fell asleep into a peaceful slumber.
Morning came knocking on the doors of her mind along with the natural alarm of the four dogs nudging and howling at Ella to kick start her new day. They had slept on her queen-size mahagony bed the previous night as was the routine with every cheat day.
Give them an ounce of love and you get back a gallon. It is the principle of dogs and when you have more than one then it's always an overdose.
After completing the morning routine of exercise and run with her dogs Ella had settled with a cup of green tea in her hand and her macbook.
Opening the notepad she started thinking about how her spa could do better. She thought of few points as to how a little space can be devoted to open a cafe and a plate of brownies can be circulated for all the customers for free. She also thought of upgrading a few equipments and techniques and decided to have a staff meeting with Katie about it. They surely needed to upgrade with spring just around the corner. Everyone wanted to look at their best. " Except you.....", Ella thought.
