The next day as Ella walked into 'Rhapsody' she had already become the talk of the town. The bouquet of baby pink roses and a sealed envelope was seated in the middle of the round table at the centre of the room and everyone was giving their own explanations about the possibilities.

Valentina, Cynthia and Katie practically flew to her side and began showering her with questions as to who the mysterious Will was.

She promised to douse their curiosity as she settled in her small office after changing into her uniform. The bouquet was gorgeous as though the flowers were handpicked. Each flower was perfect and of the of the shade Ella adored. The sealed cream coloured envelope sat at the centre of her desk. The whole thing was neither entirely friendly not entirely romantic. Just the way in the middle.

She opened the envelope carefully and read the beautiful slant cursive handwriting.

She doubted that if Will had such beautiful script he definitely used his hands for his profession. The day was the coming Friday and the timing was sharp 7 p.m. Good for Ella that her shift ended at five.

After filling in the thirsty ears of her friends Ella found herself at the shopping complex trying out various outfits. Jeans and a fancy top looked good on her but she wanted a dress.

As expected nothing, literally no dress made her feel good and secure at the same time. Some were too tight and gave her goosebumps, some were soo short that she felt like it was better to wear just the essentials than wearing that short a dress.

After about four hours Ella had schemed everywhere and couldn't find anything. She had given up on chick and glittery dresses that made women look like showpieces. She already hated them. She wanted something ethnic, down-to-earth and not head-turning strappy string dresses. One last shop at the corner caught her attention. It was dimly lit but she guessed that it served the purpose of attracting the chosen customers.

There were variety of dresses to choose from. An old woman made her way to Ella and smiled warmly. Ella returned the smile. Even though she hadn't requested the woman to help her, she already had a dress in her hand. The dress was unlike anything Ella had seen elsewhere. The shop had served it's purpose.

She tried on the dress. It was just perfect. It was a floral sundress of full length. A happy smile stretched across her face. But her heart still ached.
