Ella had already devoured ten novels over the weekend. It seemed she was more interested in the lives of people inside the book than what was going on in her life. Most of her paycheck went into ordering more and more novels over the internet and e-markets. She had completely stopped eating carbs and sugars but it did nothing to tone her body and only made her more hungry.
The only thing Ella was proud of was that she didn't lead a sedentary life and thanks to her dogs - Jackson, Rosemary, Thyme and Basil. They were a Doberman, a Labrador, a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever. She exercised enough with them and she knew it, otherwise her dogs wouldn't have been as toned, alert and healthy as they were. The only problem was she wasn't getting anywhere near improvement. She wasn't that bad but not good enough to look good anywhere and in anything. Her belly fat was the most annoying of all.
She had self trained her dogs and they were as good as the police dogs used by the local authority.
Suddenly her phone buzzed. Her pretty little sister Sofia was video calling her. She was the only person who was beautiful and Ella loved her more than her life just like her dogs instead of bubbling with envy. "Hey sis, whatzup? Mom,dad and me are fine here. I know you are doing great there but you are looking sadder by the day ", she trailed off.
"Yeah, just loathing about my misfortune of not being as beautiful as you and still bearing the name of a princess. I think it's a shame", said Ella.
"You are a princess on the inside and outside, remember that and you will find someone for sure. Moreover you're not as bad as you keep on saying. And everyone's beautiful in their own way." Though Sofia was just in ninth grade Ella thought she new a lot already and she was right.
With a few talks about their lives, she knew her family back in Boston was doing good. Everything was smooth except her mind and physique. She couldn't contemplate better that how many boys had already hit it off with Sofia. Ella was happy for her and her hard demanour which kept prying boys miles away.
