Morning came. And it came quick. I feel like I got no sleep.
But anyway, we left Erin's friend's house. We headed for the library, about three blocks away. On the way, we grabbed breakfast. The place we went to had amazing waffles.
After that, we went to the library it was huge.
Looking through, we found a book on fate's creator. The word seemed familiar...
Then suddenly, there in the library, I remembered something... a vision of sorts.
There I was. On the top of a mountain, in an intense fight. I was against a gold-haired, winged, twin-hat wearing person with two different colored eyes.
I felt an intense stabbing pain, than I snapped back to normal. It was odd.
"Not sure what that was..." I mumbled to myself. I took the book on creators, checked it out, and waited for the others to get back.
Eventually we all left. We went to an Internet Café to do more research, get some food, and read the books.
Once that was all over, we returned the books, stayed at Erin's friend's house again, and left the city.
Back on the trail, this time searching for Onisus mountain. As we walked, I picked up a small star-like object. I placed it in the box my earrings were normally in. I never take those off anyway.
With Ella and Erin by my side and Aya on my head, the journey continued.
On the bridge linking the mainland to the Onisus plateau, we encountered a flying, winged, orange-suited, twin hat-wearing person. We disregarded them until we got about halfway up the mountain.
Suddenly I thought "That was the person from the vision." And the mountain we were on was familiar too.
I brushed it off until we got to the top.
The cabin on top was the same. Suddenly I remembered. I was fighting that person. His name was Taoki Tinjinto. The star I picked up, was a Creator's charm. All the memories came rushing back... or, the ones of the days leading up to the fight...
"The eraser is back! He wants to fight on the top of the Onisus mountain!" Someone shouted
"I got it covered." Said who seemed to be a past incarnation of me.
I got prepared. Two rigorous days of preparation.
I arrived, through the fight it seemed I was winning. Until I lost my creator charm. I remembered someone, a pink-outfitted, pink-haired person... Yale... I think was their name they said "Don't lose the charm. It's the source of your power."
I guess I lost the charm. And now I'm here.
I checked the case I put the charm in. The charm had turned into a butterfly.
"Kehehe! I guess you figured it out, Delle!" Something called out from behind me.
I looked back
"It's Lilac now."
The others were bewildered. "Do you know that name?" Ella asked.
"It's me." I responded.
I jumped up, higher than usual. Luckily my wings saved me, but for awhile, Taoki and I fought in the air until I fell. A crack formed on my hand. I panicked. The others fought for me. It scared Taoki off, but I knew he'd be back.
Erin was seriously wounded. Seemed to be near death.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you." I said, in tears.
"Goodbye, old friend." Ella said, turning away
Aya meowed.
"Lilac... take care of them for me." Erin requested, handing me three red and white balls.
"Erin... no." I was crying.
"It's my time to go now, Lilac... goodbye." Erin's eyes closed.
"He's gone now..." I said "come on, Ella. We have more to do."
We left. Erin was gone. I had been entrusted with what seemed to be his pets.
After getting off the mountain, we set up a camp, we were low on morale, so we made supper and went to sleep.
The next day came. We made breakfast and tore camp down. The lake of Tojiro was next. And once we made it, we crossed it, obviously.
We were still sad. We stayed under a tree for awhile and had a conversation.
"Hey, Ella, you know, I don't really know much about you" I said
"So you want my backstory, eh?" Ella asked.
I nodded.
"Well... here goes, I guess."
From here till further notice, I let Ella write in my log.
There I was, eight, or was I nine? Either way before I even turned ten, some terrible little asshole killed my mom, dad, and big sister... everyone I loved... gone like that. I felt like it was somehow my fault. Up until thirteen I was living on the streets. Then I finally got adopted. They abused me in so many different ways that were so wrong... it was terrible, I won't go into detail. I don't wanna recall that.
I ran away at fifteen, I couldn't take anymore. The streets were better. I met Erin at seventeen. He was my best friend. Now I'm nineteen. He's gone. And it's all my fault.
Okay. Back to good old Lilac writing in this thing. But isn't that sad?
Anyway.
After Ella told her backstory I was crying even more "I... I'm so sorry, Ella."
"It's okay, Lil. It's all fine now. But we better be sure we get revenge on that guy, right?"
I nodded "We really have to now. For Erin."
"Yeah. For Erin."
End log
Erin's gone now, huh? Well. We have to keep moving forward.
