That's how it always was for the both of you.
The commander and secretary sliding through papers from every nook and cranny.
It has been a few months since you made Souryuu your secretary.
It's been that long the both of you became good friends.
Believe it or not, you thought she got more soft the last time you knew her.

Back then, she was completely strict.

It felt like you were threatened, under attack, in danger.
Worst of all... it's the both of you alone in the office.
Who would come and save you at that point?

You say as you turn your head, embarrassed.

But now, since she knew you long enough...
There was no point in her to supervise you around the clock anymore.
And there was no point her keeping her strict act with you unless it's work.
Not to mention, she just got her retrofit one week ago, and she's already acting very confident and serious.
If not, brave and acting more soft towards you more often.
Did she start to act differently because she knew I worked very hard to get her retrofit?
Possibly or another reason stands in the way.

"Alright young lady, I'll get back to it."

"I'm used to having a strict composure all this time. You're just lazy."
