???:  "Are you sure you want to leave it as it is, Raven?"

Raven:  "She'll learn eventually. Yang is not that dumb of a child."
=====================================================

Before visiting Raven's camp, she ran into some Grimm along the way there.

Although a few, this huntress swiftly handled them no problem.

Behind the scenes was a few thieves, along with the leader paying no heed until she looked back, quickly recognized the huntress's stance, and clearly hearing her say those exact keywords she'd always say every time...

???:  "It's showtime."

Moving like thunder blades with the winds, knocking down every thief out her way, swiftly clearing her path, and moving onto her next step... going forward to Raven.

Raven:  "All of you, move back!"

Thief#5: "Who is she, Boss?!"

Raven: "Someone you're definitely unmatched to."

The huntress takes three steps forward and greets Raven with her smile.

???:  "Hey, Raven."
She waved as Raven smirked at the familiar appearance she hasn't seen from a long time.

Raven:  My, my, what brings you here... Y/n?

(FLASHBACK:  START)
Back in the day when she was a freshman in Beacon, Y/n and Team STRQ (Summer, Tai, Raven, and Qrow) have been very good friends.
Even though in different groups, they have held the relationship strong.

Y/n and Summer had the best sister relationship regarding cookies, needing advice, talk when she had problems in life, shopping, fights against grimm and more.
It felt like Y/n had an older sibling at the time, although both of them were a couple of years older.

Y/n and Qrow was that one duo in the group that would always be shipped by the other members.
Even when they both would always reject having feelings for one another, it still didn't change the fact both were fallen victims in S.T.R's hands.
As time passed, he secretly developed feelings for Y/n.
He took the chances to flirt with her whenever he could, even when she was super oblivious to it at that time.
And plus, she didn't really liked Qrow all that much, so she thought he was doing this all because of boredom.

Even when being caught by his older sister, he would casually play it off to get himself off the hook.
Qrow knew Raven would not give in to his tactic, but if it was to stay close to Y/n... He would do any means necessary to do whatever it takes to make her notice him.
He probably already knew that Raven has known about his secret crush, but that didn't stop him from being progressively forward with Y/n.

Y/n and Raven were definitely the sassy duo.
As sassy one lady can be, two was enough to quickly silence and debunker anything the boys had the say.
Knowing that they both were different people with almost the same personality, that's one of the reasons why Raven took an interest in you.
Another reason she took an interest was because she found out one day that she was having romantic feelings for her.
Y/n's good looks, personality, even her professional huntress skills that was marvelously commended by Principal Ozpin himself.
It all sparked her.

One singular problem Raven had, was that she knew her younger brother had feelings for   Y/n.
He didn't tell anyone, but she could tell by the space he's been closing in between the both of them.
As Qrow would take his chances to stand close to her, Raven like the territorial person she is, would interrogate her brother on why he was always so close.
And this would happen every time the siblings would hang on to her for dear life, or close in the space between the three of them.

Qrow:  "Because we're friends. Is it not normal to do that with those we have a close relationship WITH?"

Raven:  "Although that may be true, even friends want their personal SPACE, you know."

Both glaring and growling at each other like eerie wolves ready to bite.
This would always happen every time Raven would see her younger brother take a hold of one of her hands and Qrow sees his older sister completely embrace the other arm.
So because Y/n can't control these two birds at once, she would turn to Summer with pleading eyes for help.
Eventually it would be calm again when Summer stepped into the picture and naturally ask if anyone wants cookies.
If Y/n never had a great friend like Summer to step in like that, she would've been stuck in that loophole forever.
Even so, it felt like she became a part of Team STRQ.

When Summer passed away...
Without telling anyone, not even Tai, Raven, nor Qrow, Y/n decided it was time to go separate ways.
When it was time to meet again, she promised she would come back, as her new self.
Stronger and more powerful than she was before.
Working day and night out in the wilds, forests, even traveling as far through the 4 Kingdoms to become one of the greatest and known huntresses in Remnant.
(FLASHBACK:  END)

Now it has been a few years since both Raven and Y/n have seen each other, and now are professional huntresses.
Y/n had already made herself comfortable as she drank the herb tea that was made by her good partner, Vernal.

Although it's been very long since she's last visited Summer's grave and Raven herself since her departure, Y/n has grown from her childish looks to a mature looking woman.

That's what Raven missed... But, she did enjoy the now new Y/n more than she imagined.

It's been a few minutes since they have last updated each other since then.
What shocked Y/n was Raven was already a mother of a daughter named Yang.
But she did elaborate to Y/n that their relationship with one another is very hard rock bottom.

Raven:  "Yang will soon understand the true natures of this world. I told her everything I knew, I warned her about everything about Salem, so it's her choice of whatever she want to do with that information."

Y/n:  "I see. Despite all that, Raven... I believe what you did was right. You told her of everything you knew and experienced. She'll soon learn to understand the reality we've been facing while learning to grow from all the hardships and have amounts of knowledge of the things they shouldn't know of."

Raven:  "That's true... Enough of that, you never visit often. What's going on? And... long time no see, stupid." Raven grins.

Y/n:  "I know, it's been a while, hasn't it? Long time no see, Raven."

Raven:  "What have you been up to?"

Y/n:  Since my departure, I've been traveling around Remnant fighting Grimm. I've finally made my stay and have been working in Atlas two years ago with Ironwood's help. But both Ironwood and Winter lately have been keeping having my hands full at work."

Raven:  "I don't understand why he likes to dump things unto others. You should stop working with that man sooner or later."

Y/n:  "It's fine, it's work."

Raven:  "And that's the problem."
Raven:  'You never learn to stop and take a rest.'

Y/n:  "What's the problem?"

Raven:  "No use in explaining to a hard head like you."

Y/n:  "Why do you have to be so mean?"

Raven:  "Part of my nature, Y/n."

Y/n sighs, but also is grateful to have Raven as a good friend of hers.

Both Y/n and Raven sip their tea in comfortable silence.

Y/n breaks their silence,
Y/n:  "While I'm here, I'll be in Mistral hunting down any Grimms that decided to lay haste for a few days. So if you need anything, I know you got that portal of yours."

Raven:  "Of course, my friend."
