Ruby, Yang and I are best friends. We have known each other's since we were kids.
And today, we are all going to attend Beacon Academy today!
A little backstory here,
There was a time where I almost had to transfer to Atlas because...
My parents thought it was a good idea to put me in a elite school where all the rich people go to.
Yes, my family had money like that, but that wasn't the choice of school I wanted to go.
Well luckily for me, I didn't turn in my transfer form.
My parents were upset. They confronted me about it. But I didn't let that opportunity slip. After I was able to change their minds, they then officially decided together to transfer me back to Beacon.
It's not just I'm going to miss the both of them, I also didn't want to be forced to go somewhere out of my own free will.
I'm so happy that I didn't move because Ruby and Yang are the only people I hang out with all the time. And if I left, I would miss Ruby sharing her cookies, and Yang letting me ride her motorcycle with her, as her passenger of course.
Oh yeah where's Yang, you ask?
She woken up earlier to make a stop somewhere before she came over to school so that's why both Ruby and I are walking to school together.
I was walking kind of fast for Ruby that she had to call for me.
"(Y/n), wait u- oof!"
"Ugh.... Hey, do you not know how to watch where you're going?!"
"Um, I'm sorry, it was an accident.."
"Sorry isn't going to cut it you know! You even made me drop my bottle!"
"Bottle?"
"This is dust! Mined and sold from the Schnee company!" She shouts while she opens a case filled with bottles of dust.
"Ughh... that's dust?" Ruby looking confused as hell.
"Are you telling me you don't know what dust is?! Dust! Water, fire, life, energy!"
"Ruby, what's going on?" You question as you came to see what the commotion was about.
"Who is this? Your friend??"
I only saw her eyes then.
I was captivated by her looks, her beauty.
"Yes, is there a problem?" You answer her with a platonic nice tone.
But when she answered back, I was surprised by her childness.
"Well, at least try to watching your little friend from tripping me!"
"I'm sorry but, correction, I'm her friend, not her parent. I don't have to have full responsibility of my friend like that, she's not a child and neither I'm her parent. But anyways, how did it escalate this badly, Ruby?" I ask Ruby, trying my best to not sound irritated.
"I accidentally bumped into her, and apologized for what I've done, but she told me that a sorry won't cut it." She says as I help her up.
"Yes, I told her that!"
"But I told you I'm sorry!"
"And a sorry won't help!"
I guess this immature girl doesn't want to accept her apology, putting all the blame on Ruby and not even accepting her faults. I just wonder who raised this disaster like child? I really want to shank whoever raised this spoiled brat.
Now I'm in the middle of a useless quarrel with a teenage child who I think is the same age as me,
literally yelling at my friends face. I can swear to the gods she is irritating the shit out of me.Before I could act, a girl with a cute black bow holding a bottle came from behind me, scaring the living soul from my body.
"Oh my god, you scared me!" You jumped.
"I'm sorry, I wanted to see what the commotion was about."
'Looking closely, she's really pretty...' I thought to myself.
She questioned me, "So, what's wrong?"
I then cut out of trance.
"Oh! Sooo, my friend accidentally bumped into this... um, spoiled lady over there. Ruby apologized but she said a sorry is not going to cut it."
"I see."
"Hm?"
Walking past me, the pretty black haired girl with the girls bottle walked up to the girls.
"Weiss Schnee, am I right?" She says holding the girls dust bottle.
"Weiss Schnee?"
Oh! From that Schnee family!
"I believe you dropped this." She says holding out the dust bottle.
"Ugh!" Weiss takes away the dust bottle from the girl's hand and starts to walk away.
After she walked away, I retorted, raising my voice, "Well, that's a great start to not having friends, ice queen."
"Woah (Y/n), chill!"
"Ruby, I tried so hard trying to keep my patience in check. I think I have the right to be irritated after all that." You say, irritated as you think back at the situation once more.
'She better be thankful I was very patient with her. Who does she think she is? She was so mad disrespectful.' I thought to myself.
"But anyways, I want to thank the girl who saved me!" Ruby says cheerfully.
"Oh yeah! Thanks for helping us!"
"No problem. The names Blake."
"I'm pretty sure you heard my name from Ruby, but I'll say it again, (Y/n). And that clumsy cookie over here is Ruby."
"Awww, don't call me cookie, I might turn into one!" She says as she starts running around.
"Now I'm starting to regret my choice of words..."
Blake giggles, "Both of you are really good friends."
"We've known each other since childhood, so this usually happens majority of the time." You giggle back, shaking your head.
"Are you guys attending Beacon Academy?"
"Yes! Are you?"
"Yes."
"Then, shall we walk together then? I mean... if you want to, Blake."
"Yes of course, (Y/n)."
I then turned around to call for Ruby,
"Hey Ruby, keep running around and we're going to leave you!"
"Huh? Hey! Wait up!"
All three of us then proceeded to walk to the Academy.
But, I wonder... If Weiss is attending there too, I kinda don't want to see her face today, especially after what happened earlier.
