You see, I believed that I could keep my distance to those who were precious around me. Don't get me wrong, it did work for those few months.
The few months that I decided to leave.
It was something I had to do after all.
If I was to tell myself something...

"Learn how to control it."
"Don't be the one to fault for your actions."

Yea, if only that was simple enough to do.
I wasn't able to keep that promise when I lost control and almost killed (Y/n)-chan.
I wasn't able to keep that promise when I hurt Mei-senpai.
I wasn't able to keep that promise when Aunt Himeko put her life on the line just to keep Sirin, the Herrscher from tampering with humanity.
Breathing her last breath as she saved me from that insanity.

If I only knew how to control these powers sooner, maybe things would've been different. Maybe things would've never gotten out of hand like how it did.
That's why I have to punish myself for those wrongdoings.

I'm guilty.
I am the Herrscher of the Void, the criminal that almost destroyed humanity that day.
I will take the blame for it.
I will take responsibility of my actions, repent by doing what is right for myself, and for everyone else.
That's why...

???: "Kiana!"

Kiana: "Oh?"
Kiana: "Sorry Fu Hua, I was lost in thoughts."

Inside of an hidden base in ARC City, they were looking to every location they marked that included Honkai invasion, picking up leads and pieces one by one.

Fu Hua: "It's fine."
Fu Hua: "I was going to tell you that I found the last location of a Honkai invasion."

Kiana: "Okay."
Kiana: "Let's put all these leads and pieces together."

When they put it all together, it made completely clear.

Fu Hua: "When did you realize there was someone pulling the strings behind the ARC City scourge, Kiana?"

Kiana: "I saw a familiar face when sweeping out zombies."
Kiana: "It's a lady I saved one month ago."
Kiana: "I thought I saw a ghost."
Kiana: "Do you remember, Fu Hua?"
Kiana: "I did ask you once if the things happening here was because of "her" waking up in me."

Fu Hua: "Don't worry."
Fu Hua: "I assured that you aren't to blame of the events occurring since I have been watching you all along."

Kiana: "Yes, exactly."
Kiana: "You said if it is the Herrscher, the honkai beasts would spawn near me."
Kiana: "You pointed me in the right direction."

Fu Hua: "Honkai beasts and zombies are always after where honkai energy concentrates."

Kiana pinned down every location with Honkai affliction on the map.

Kiana: "See, we have all the locations on the map now."
Kiana: "And clearly, there is a center to them."

Fu Hua: "The Heliopolis industrial area."
Fu Hua: "Very methodical, but not very, Kiana."
